Another day away with work so have now achieved 3 NSDS
Tomorrow wont be a NSD as my Mr T delivery is due and I need some food storage boxes, hair dye and vitamins. I also need to pay for my contribution to a colleagues 40th birthday present.
Long drive home tomorrow and a PT session in the evening. This week has flown.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Heated car seats
2) Room service
3) The £40 vouchers I received today as an unexpected Christmas gift from the MDSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

Hi everyone,
Spend day. Essentials (loo roll, milk, bread flour, cat litter, paracetamol) at Lidl. Then went to Junk Food Project which is all out of date food but pay as you feel ... a donation. Put £5 in the box for loads and loads (Enough for well over a week) of vegetables, bananas and tonnes of today's/yesterday's date bread and some pastries/doughnuts, couple of packs of fajita kits, couple of tins of tomatoes. Amazing. So practically free tea - I made veg and lentil soup with 2 baguettes warmed in oven to freshen them up! It's half an hour drive but so nice to see all that food being put to good use and not landfilled. It's quite shocking that it's all just chucked away normally.
Grateful for my good friend who I visited today. Grateful to be starting to feel better. And lastly as always my loving family.
I like this thread. It's making me more grateful for all I have, and thinking about any wasteful spending.NSDs January 14

Ccl - bliss balls are like homemade Nakd bars. Someone - sorry, I forget who it was - posted the recipe either in Nov or Dec. Basically, blitz 1 cup of cashews and 1 cup of dates and 2 tablespoons cocoa, mix in a little water.. Roll into balls and chill. You can substitute other nuts, mix dates with sultanas. Just play with it - it will still be scrumptious!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Spent £2 on bus hopping to and from local history session (which turned into a bit of a therapy session). Didn't do the car park walk as it was cold and frosty and ankle was nagging. It's been strapped up all day and used a stool to keep it up whilst at the Centre. Re-booked my counselling session for next week.
Hoping to stay home and rest properly tomorrow. Ankle is not sprained but tried paddling my feet and turning circles and it's jerkier and much slower than the other foot. Must just have turned too quickly or sharply.
Today I am grateful for my nice warm bed, for having a good chat (local history partner was urging me to spoil myself, buy expensive candle - did buy some bubbles for the bath from my Christmas money. Can afford a little treat and still pay a good chunk into savings. Looked at sale clothes in two shops but nothing 'must have' jumping out at me) and for not having to be anywhere tomorrow. I promise my goals are taking shape and I will post tem soon.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Feeling better today thanks everyone. Coughing still but slept well last night.
abundant don't be too hard on yourself - you only have one life and need some treats along the way.
I had my haircut today, only a dry cut as I had washed my hair last night so only £10 half the usual price. Feels so much better.
Fmess well done on your weight loss. Watching some dribble on itv save money-lose weight! Who could afford those naf diets.
I might start next week getting healthy. Ate a curry for tea probably but too creamy with my cold- feel yuck now. Hate microwave meals but feeling lazy.
Little spend fruit, milk, orange juice and a curry.
Bob looks like a good start to the year for your business and nice to see your debt diminishing.
dolly will have a gander tomorrow at your info.

Grateful bizarrely for being ill as it meant I have had 2 NSDs!
Grateful for having a bit of time and made some naughty/good chocolate. Melted a big bar of dark chocolate, placed it in a cling filmed line dish and sprinkled seeds and dried cranberries over the top.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Grateful today for:
- Church bells ringing as I walked past tonight - dragged myself out for a walk having been inspired by mothernerds car park adventures. It did me good to get some fresh air!
- Tidier house - found receipt to take back some new exercise trousers, as in my mass tidy up of the wardrobe at the weekend I did locate a pair that will fit and do for now.
- Hot water bottles - still no heating on here, but the blankets and bottles are keeping me warm (although I do dash about if I have to move!)
Aiming for a further NSD tomorrow and, shock, horror, a trip to the work gym!!!0 -
Evening All
Yesterday was so nearly a NSD but at 8pm DS1 wanted me to click and collect a game for him, and so I had to pay upfront. He has given me the cash but there has still been movement on the bank balance so I won't class it as a NSD.
Today was planned to be a NSD as I have everything in I need for the next few days, but then an item I had expressed an interest in on Streetlife unexpectedly came my way - I was third in line for a Victorian (I think) black cast iron fireplace with the ash tray and all the bits still included with surround. The two people in front of me must have disappeared, so spent £80. It is massively heavy. It is also still in the boot of the car outside, anyone trying to nick it is going to need to be Popeye. So not a NSD today either. Grrrr, but I have the makings for a warm house, eventually. (after chimney decapped / lined and the hole excavated)
I am grateful for my DH who makes me cry with laughter (usually unintentionally)
A seven seater car, which I unashamedly use as a skip / wheelbarrow
My babies. Even if DS1 is getting really annoying about being more than an inch taller than me at 14.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
