Another NSD bagged today!
Took the Christmas deccies down when I got in tonight. Place looks rather bare......
Today I'm grateful for:
- a small amount of interest/cash back on my current account to wing over to the emergency fund in these negligible interest rate times!
- grateful thanks from a client for something I did for her;
- reading one of mothernerd's excellent posts!Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

F0xh0les, thoughts are with you all. So tough for everyone, I'm glad your DH was there to support his student.
Grateful tonight for:- Much more relaxed day at work - a escape from griefy politics that have dominated for a while
- Tangy cheese on toast - scrummy
- My smart work dress fits once again. (It was bought whilst I was in a 'bigger than usually am stage', but before xmas even it was too tight to wear, so glad to be back in it. Nor only does it suggest the exercise is making a difference, but it is just nice to know I can do smart fairly easily. Hate wasting my energy on what to wear!)

Today I am grateful for:

Hi turtles,
It's great to see the thread so busy!
Yesterday was another NSD but today was not, so I'm upto 4. Only spent on business items today, and will make money on it tomorrow, but as it's come out of my account I'm counting the spend.
Was due to have lunch with an old friend today but she cancelled so managed to throw a quick lunch together from stores and saved money there.
Did a 40 minute walk this evening with DD whilst DS was at his sports club, despite the rain.
Today I am grateful for:
An early finish in a Friday
DDs company on my walk

f0xholes how distressing for everyone involved. Glad that your DH could offer support to his student. Also agree that mental health needs to be discussed much more, it's something that I feel really passionate about.

Made bliss balls do thanks for that ... Can't remember who that was? Very sweet and sticky. Think I put in too much water. Fab thanks. Going to try HM regular Nakd bars next which is just dates and cashews apparently.
