Missed posting yesterday as bestie came round for my DS2's birthday and styed until almost 11pm. Very tired last night after another day at work and poor sleep this week but was lovely to see bestie and her hubby

DS2's bday yesterday (11) - seems very pleased with his presents from everyone and his day in general and thanked me again just before bed and straight off when he got up today and has just 'shot' me with his lego fighter plane - but with 'love bullets' - awww
Things I am grateful for (yesterday):
* old friends who you can always rely upon
* a son who is pleased with the simplest of things (best present seems to be the Fantastic Beasts Screenplay book at less than £10
)
* gorgeous smiles and hugs from the birthday boy

I'm starting off my things to be grateful for early today.
1) Clients who pay large bills promptly.:D. It will cover my jacket and a contribution to the car easily.
After negotiating with DH, I can borrow his very expensive RAB gilet just for the week of skiing. So I will only need a shell not a highly insulating jacket I will only be able to use for skiing. And I located my OE card which is valid until 20th this month and gets me an extra 10% off at Tiso.
Hope everyone else has a good day too:TGoals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Thanks Bob

Happy birthday to your DS for yesterday dolly. I think they both had similar cakes - chocolate and ganache?
Did both Ald1 and Tesc0 shop with OH earlier - just under £50 food shopping from the 2, so am pleased with that
Early gratitude today:
* A lie in until 7.30 - which is when my alarm goes off. Normally DS3 wakes me up well before this!
* The extra hours I've done at work this week (about 7 or 8, I think) - the money will be very handy come payday!
* Discovering Zeek - have saved £132 on the cost of our sofas using this! :T:money:
Yummy chicken nachos for dinner tonight - using YS chicken breast, value tortilla chips and peppers which have been hanging around for longer than they should (and some of our sour cream mountain - accidentally bought 2 pots instead of one a couple of weeks ago) Plus some of the Xmas treats or birthday cake for after - and I might even finish off the open bottle of wine  Easy Sat night food

Greent - just popping in to suggest we hold a bit of a casualtee /ironing challenge, as that was my plan for the evening too! More likely to keep to it if I declare it on here! It will take more than a hour to conquer my pile through
but it would make a huge dent in it!
More MS updates later as today has been a productive wombling day!0 -
Hi everyone.
Still struggling with bad chest up at 6am sat in hot bath, trying to loosen it up.
Popped to Lidlee for bread, veg and salad stuff. £10 in total spent.
Cooked a gammon joint for lunch, salad and crusty French stick.
Was going out but with a baby how much hard work is that. In the end left dd holding the baby and just walked gs to local park. He isn't well either so didn't stay long with fine rain starting
Anyone running out of ironing mine is here:D
Going to do nothing this evening and see if I am up to planned long walk tomorrow I can't see it. Prefer a short walk, and do a few jobs around the house.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220
