Froddington what about some Christmasy names Carol, Holly, Rudolf etc?

Maybe - I did think about that. They are boys though and nothing seems to suit. I may yet go with Star Wars names!! :D

Valli and Dancemum big hugs to you and anyone else who has suffered the loss of a loved one xx

Everyone is seeming really organised; I feel positively sloth like and can hear the BD whining so just going to put my virtual ear protectors on so I can't hear it and carry on. It'll pass - it always does. Got more ironing to do, clean the bathrooms, put another load in the WM etc. Going to go food shopping first thing tomorrow morning when L**l opens and that'll see us through. First thing though is to have another cup of tea and then jump in the shower. Will catch you later.

This morning I have made cake frills and tied them round the cakes that DGD1+2 made and decorated, ready for New Year's Day. Also wrapped up the Xmas puds which I cooked in my SC for the first time - can't think why I've never done it before, it was a brilliant tip.

Just had to take DH to Dr because his chest is hurting again - more antibiotics :( Now he can't go to the concert this evening, so I am trying to find a friend who is free to come with me.

Managed to grab a cancellation slot this afternoon at the hairdresser's to have my 7 cm long hair shaved back to manageable proportions before it drives me completely potty!

Will write my to-do list while I drink my :coffee: and then start cooking and wrapping :)

    Enjoy the new ratties, froddy!

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed x
  • Freezer defrosted. Glad to report no UFO's:D

2 empty baskets waiting for my MF delivery this pm. :j

Now, mince pies and chicken fiesta soup. Then I need to pack to leave tomorrow:( and I have my Women Living Sober group Xmas party tonight. It will be a riot:D

    Have a great afternoon everyone.

    (((Hugs))) Valli, Bossy and KatieCat.
    Enjoy the party, FBO.
Ionafan, is Mr Ionafan's health worrying you? Ever since the car's prang he hasn't seemed to be right. I hope you find someone to enjoy the concert with.
Kelpie says thank you for his cuddle, LW. He's very boisterous today.
So sad your DS1's Christmas got off to such a gut-wrenching start, Dancemum. He really is learning all of life's lesson's the hard way, isn't he?
Exciting, new ratties, just in time for Christmas, Frodders. Yule, and Log? Sprout and Pie? I could play this game all day, so I'll stop now, before I'm asked to. *ouch* for the car bill.

Flylady cards arrived yesterday. Thank you very much everyone, particularly Natty; OH hung them up straight away because we had the residents' association meeting here last night, so I had to wash the kitchen floor because it's at eye level when sitting at the dining table, and did a bit of dysoning to suck up the piles of dog hair. We're still a bit chaotic as the kitchen DIY isn't finished and I'd like to be straight by Christmas day but I can cope with things are they are so I'm not going to stress about it. We're off to the farm to get the turkey tomorrow so that'll be fun but I'm going to have to clear some space in the fridge later for it.
    Better is good enough.

Done a shopping list for tomorrow's L**l shop and will do my best to keep to it. Had a bit of a tidy up around the house (not that you'd know it) and am making some nice leek and potato soup for lunch - S helped me; he's quite into cooking at the moment. WM seems to be taking ages; not sure why I'm quite so keen for it to finish but there you go!
