Morning all,
Yorkshire Lass, I too agree with the others, peace of mind and all that!
Bob, Thank you I did sleep better....until 5.20am when my youngest came through having wet his bedSo by the time the bed had been stripped etc I was wide awake) Then did nod off again only waking 10 minutes before the kids and I needed to leave the house - thankfully as I was taking them to breakfast club anyway it was just a quick wash, brush tea and get dressed and out. Not a lot of time for them to start bickering with each other hmmm this maybe a new plan!
Today's list
* Breakfast club for the kids for free
* Went to Farmf00ds and after talking with my mum decided to spend £50 instead of the £25
we'd planned but most of it theirs anyway. Used my calculator around the store to end up as close to the £50 as I could and I remembered to use the £5 off £50 coupon
* Drove back via the cs and dropped in the donations I had, also had a quick look round but there wasn't anything I needed so purse stayed closed
* Washed kiddo's bedding
* Someone dh works with was having a sort out and he's given dh a box full of dvds
Still to do
* Check banking/spreadsheets
* Check fpl/luckyphone/numberplate
* Do daily searches on inbox£'s as payout is in sight at £18.16 and I can't get the payout until I hit £20, its about a yr to this point so I'm not giving up!
* Clean kitchen using stardrops
* Pack for our weekend away - bad girl....still not done
* Make a casserole in the SC which we will be taking away with us for the weekend
* All meals from stores, kids going to finish off the veg soup followed by jacket spud with [STRIKE]tuna mayo[/STRIKE] grated them some cheese in with the salad and bit of mayo instead as they had tuna at lunchand a bit of salad that needs using up. We will have garlic mushroom chicken, with jacket spud & peas/corn
* Plan tomorrows meals, continuing to run down what we have in
* Dejunk emails, doing this daily really helps
* Radiator shuffle kiddos bedding
Will hopefully add more as I go
** My dad called into pick up his stuff from FF, was nice and warm in the conservatory from the sun, so we sat in there have a cuppa & a catch up which was nice (although it means I've not got anything ticked off my list yet!)
** Read Martins email and ordered a couple of bits off B0dy shop using the code for the freebie, the things I've ordered will be used for January birthday's
** Downloaded a book for my eldest from the free e library, as the papercopy already has two holds against it.
** Pulled out a candle that was originally bought for the colour and never been burnt, its covered in dust so will use it up in the kitchen

Well this morning so far.
1. Have a pot of chicken stock on the job
2. DD is wearing yet another new to her outfit that I pulled out of another huge stack of things we are trying to wear! What with 2 older girls who's mum has given us everything up to age 5! Her brothers unisex hand me downs & gifts given by both sets of Grannies, this girl is the Kim Kardashin of our house. And with her nappies on her bum is almost as big
3. Coffee made at home. Lots of it. Sore throat and fuzzy head started yesterday so powering through on cold and flu tabs - own brand of course
4. Checked banking
5. Had a chat with a relative, who called me.
6. OH WFH for the rest of this week due to train strikes. Will save us around £30 in travel costs
7. Making home made soup for lunch to use up cooked veg, with the fresh chicken stock
8. DS has gone in wearing a Christmas jumper today for a charity donation. His Christmas jumper given to him last year by his Nan still fitted so no need for further spends
9. Will be walking as much as possible today as usual to keep travel costs low
10. The relative I spoke with earlier said there is a cheque in the post towards DS Christmas present (his big one) so I'm grateful for that.
Oh and an 11th, I have barely spent a penny on nappies since September (ha ha that sounds hilarious, I don't wear them myself) due to the £18 in pampers coupons they sent us after I complained about their Baby dry brand, being rubbish. We seem to be having much better luck with Active Fit. They must think there are some enormous fat young babies out there if they claim their Baby dry are not suitable for mobile babies. The weight limit is 40 pounds!!!! DD is 22 pounds so right at the start of their weight bracket of 20 pounds. Anyway my rambling point here is I have one more coupon to spend and need more anyway so might do that today.
Have good ones everyone

LL woohoo thats great news.
I got a message from school saying that all children must wear a Christmas jumper on Friday, seems like its the in thing this year. Luckily DS2 has one.
Paid stuff no. 1 done, bedrooms dusted and hoovered, DS2s bed changed, casserole made, LR fire cleaned out. On with paid stuff no. 2 now. Treated myself to a bunch of flowers (£1.69) but resisted the temptation to buy the overpriced Christmassy ones.
Bob we have always had the same problems with trousers and jeans for our skinny kids.
Oh and have rung the hospital. The gastro nurse is off today but she will ring me tomorrow.
Right, 3 hours of paid stuff on job no. 2 to do if I can - and Pilates tonight too!0 -
Hi everyone,
Not been as active recently been working away!
Was hoping to have a relatively debt-free week, so far I've done/am going to do the following:
Elected not to go to the Christmas night out in the work as I have already had a little Christmas night out with an old team.
Paid tomorrow so will work out budget for the month and plan to stick to it.
I've been gifted a bit of money from my parents which will largely help towards clearing my overdraft/credit card debts so that's good news.
Car won't start againsod's law

I'm not sure how this current use up will work....
I had some beetroot that was BBE Sept 16 and as I don't plan on eating it in the next couple of weeks or so I decided to make a chocolate & beetroot cake, made it once before yrs ago and it was ok but nothing special so never made it again. Anyway, I blitzed the beetroot added the oil (a different kind of oil to the recipe but it was all I had) added the 3 eggs, added the flour then went to reach for the cocoa powder and remembered that I'd already used that up last week and we didn't have any!!! So its turning into a concoction and will probably have to be covered with custard tomorrow to eat it but hey no waste! I've added hot chocolate powder instead of the cocoa and added far less sugar to the recipe as the hot choc is sweetened. Anyway its in the oven now so we will have to wait 45 minutes to see how it turns out - wish me luck!
