Little Pink, Hope you are feeling better now.
We've just eaten our use up meal which I wasn't really fancying but it was really nice and tasty
Mashed potato with pork steak, carrots, a small amount of frozen cabbage from the back of the freezer, a tin of sweetcorn and covered with a peppercorn sauce it was delish!Hubby said he could eat it all again!
Other small things,
* I was going to give the kids & my niece hm soup followed by 4 leftover potato waffles, some beans and a poached egg but then my dad called in for breakfast and he used all bar 2 of my eggs, so rather then poached eggs I made 12 fairy cakes instead which they had for dessert (and 4 left for tomorrow). ( worked out well as my sis wanted feeding too)
* Printed a voucher for £2.50 off a £25 shop at farm foods for tomorrow, we don't get much from there but my parents get a few bits from there so we always try to join together to spend the £25 and use the voucher. Written the shopping list onto the piece of paper with the voucher on
* No heating on tonight, we have jumpers and blankets
I think that's it, my brain is fried after my lack of sleep. I didn't manage to get a nap BaileysBabe but hoping that means I will sleep properly tonight!
Before switching my brain off I just need to work out what we are eating tomorrow, I have the meat out but its something to go with it that I aren't sure about yet, If all else fails it will be frozen peas from farmfoods and sweetcorn from stores! (I'm trying to stick to the useup and not buy food for this week, the shopping for me from FF tomorrow is part baked baguettes, their extra mature cheese is lovely and some crackers, all of which I'm getting to take with us for our weekend away)
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Hi all
Both paid stuff done, been to my gym class which does cost me £5 but is worth it. Tea from mealplanner.
Bit worried about DS1, he is really pale and complaining of being cold in addition to the usual tiredness. His health problems mean he is prone to being anaemic which has become quite serious in the past. Not sure if I should speak to the doctor but he will have to increase his iron supplements, which he hates.
Bit of telly then an early night I think.0 -
Tidy house=tidy mind
Keep up to date with confidential waste
Maintain the 3 email accounts which are upto date
Un subscribe from any emails which I don't want or are irrelevant
Spend a focused 15 minutes on dd room
Today's list
Turn off lights and appliances not in use
Take snacks and drinks out with us
Only spend on HE session (budgeted for)
That seems a very small list, hopefully I can add more later.
Did everything I listed, except dd room.
Additionally I:
Negotiated a bigger discount at martial arts as now all 3 of them go
FPL, Ashleigh
RMsurvey
We didn't light the stove as it was still cosy inside
The stove had so much residual heat the water in the kettle was still very warm, as was the water in the flask - used for hot drinks throughout the day.
Shut the curtains just gone 2pm as it was so dark.
Need to dash battery running out.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

BB So impressed at how organised you are for Christmas.
I don't feel organised, normally by now all ambient food and drink would have been stashed away weeks ago. By trying to put some structure in place I am using that to stop panicking.
We are out until mid afternoon at a HE group, should be fun, but often cold so I'm taking my thermals. We have a bring and share lunch, our contribution will come from stores along with a loaf of bread that I made in the machine over night.
Our meals will be from stores and we will stick with the meal plan.
I only plan to spend on HE group fee's.
Ask friend to price up a small decoration I've made to see if it would be worth making a batch for next year's craft fair.
Washing will be dried on the airer, DW & WM will be set to run overnight. I need to make a batch of porridge.
I will try and add to this throughout the day.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
