Does my hairdresser have the right to do this?!

Isn't mse about getting value for money more than spending no money!0

So, to sum up:
They charged you more than you should have paid in error. You noticed and they agreed to refund
They refunded you more than they should have done in error. They noticed and you agreed to pay them back.
You then told them you were not going to pay them back the incorrectly refunded transaction, so they instead used the VISA system to correct the incorrect payment.
They did nothing wrong. If you have a dispute over the quality of the service provided, then you have the right to start proceedings against them to claim your money back in the same way as if you had paid cash. That's all. You authorised the payment when you entered your PIN, them correcting the refund made in error is entirely irrelevant to that.0 -
The salon took payment for ALL your appointments - that doesn't sound like they agreed that there was a problem (other than your preference)
Then, after the second 'corrective' appointment, you didn't check your hair all over until Day 4 which funnily enough was the time the salon correcting the payment/refund error would make you overdrawn.
Add to that the distortion of the story to the Bank. You changed your mind several days after the event and wanted to use the refund error to keep £100 but the payment system allows errors to be corrected without your further input. This infuriated you. You see that as sly on their part but are happy to fabricate a duress story yourself.
Surely, you can see why you are not coming across very well OP?0
