Does my hairdresser have the right to do this?!

  • I think that some posters are suggesting that if you wanted to maintain a good relationship with your hairdresser, then agreeing to pay an outstanding sum and subsequently reneging on that agreement might not have been the best way to go about it.

But if you're happy to keep paying the amounts you are, and he (or she) is a businessman, then no doubt they'll welcome you back...

Any way, thank you all for your friendly, helpful and sincerely constructive advice, I'll definitely take it on board!

Having spoken with the bank I have a strong case to have the funds returned to me, on production of previous complaints to the salon - which I have.

    Have a great day!

Total nonsense and you know it.

Yes. Total nonsense. I just posted that for the sake of it, and I 'know it'.

    Christ on a bike.
  • But I thought you wanted to keep using this hairdresser?

I did, until they took the money out of my bank shadily, when I only spoke with the salon manager yesterday who didn't mention a thing.

I just went into the bank for advice. Or not, if Hintza decides to tell me I didn't.

Then the salon will dispute it and the funds will be returned back to them.

As well as the fact they charge £200 and are 250 miles away, I don't understand why you would wish to keep going to this hairdresser when they have failed to carry out your instructions and subsequently have twice failed to correct their errors.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

The bank have given me all this information, which I'll use to proceed accordingly :)

They were incredible when I had long hair, not so much since I've cut it short (which leaves much less room for error).
