what I had left over from last month after bills/spending (All accounts) I transferred to Halifax reward account... for 2 DD's rest I will save so about £500 and will not touch it..
I do that each month so each amount I save is different but is going up each month... Will keep saving until I need that money for something0 -
A small victory over here that I thought some of you guys might appreciate. My car broke down yesterday, which aside from being really bad timing and generally annoying had the potential to mess with my budget. Fortunately, I've been stashing £10-£20 per month into a car maintenance fund in my budget (not part of my savings) just in case something like this happened. So instead of chucking it on the credit card, or reducing my savings for the month, the repair was fully covered
Just need to build the fund back up now!!

Ooopsy - another negative month. Hubby is renovating a flat, and needed to borrow £2k of the savings.
So minus £756.44 for me this month.I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.0 -

smashed my £4k target in October with £371.39. Taking my total to £4,030.50 with two months still to go.0

Slow month for October. £1383.96 for month of October.
It's the last stretch guys for 2017. 2 more months with huge potential for bigger expenses with the holiday season. I myself am going on a 5 day holiday to Prague the following week. You can't avoid what you can't avoid.
Stay tight.
