Just submitted my October update which takes me to £150 past my £2500 target - I had an unexpected boost at the beginning of the year which helped quite a bit. 2 more regular saver payments to make this year, so I expect to clear £3k by the end of December :)

Have managed to save £1201 for September, bringing really close to my target. However, I have a very large credit card bill coming in October so know I will be dipping into my savings to pay for it. But with 3 months left off the year I think I will be okay.

As predicted for October I have had to dip into saving so reporting a negative of -£348.43 (form submitted). I'm okay with this as i'm still on target thanks to this thread and part of it is owed to me but I won't count it until I get it back.

    Well done everyone!

Hi all, £840.07 for me this month. Although this number is disappointing, I've spent £618.25 on house buying stuff (survey, solicitor costs etc), so if I add that to the total (because it would have been savings otherwise) I would have saved £1,458.32, which is a great number!

Two months left to go - not sure why I'm looking forward to next year's challenge already?!
  • Made some slight adjustments to my savings in August and September so that's all correct now.

I'm going to wait until my October interest on my Nationwide account comes through to declare my savings for this month but should be looking at a healthy month of savings which is positive!
