Most of the units sold by pushy cold callers are low quality and can be bought elsewhere for a small fraction of that cost.

Never buy a cold calls blocker offered by a cold caller. Most of these units will also block calls that you did want to receive.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you should return and get a refund.

The only system worthy of any consideration is one based on trueCall technology.

Nothing wrong with CPR Callblocker and half the price of Truecall.

CPR (call prevention registry): wouldn't touch it with a long pointy stick.

TPS has published a list of companies and products that should be avoided:

CPR Callblocker not the call prevention registry is what it says a callblocker.

TPS is useless, not worth bothering even with your long pointy stick.

As for it's being only 30% as good as Truecall, it depends on what you want, having had one for two years I have no problems with it, at half the price it does what is says on the box which is simply blocking unwanted calls.

Interestingly the item in the Amazon advert says

The CPR Nuisance Call Blocker with Caller Display is pre-programmed with 200 numbers which are deemed as 'known nuisance callers' by The Call Prevention Registry and will block any call originating from any of these numbers

Is this a different 'Call Prevention Registry' to the one mentioned on the TPS website?
