A quick google has led me to this link...I have no idea how scientific their research is but it wouldn't harm to up your intake of these vitamins and minerals through food....Hope that helps some

Dr Myhill is a god in my opinion, she's the one who has helped me get back on my feet (literally!) after countless doctors could do nothing! She's a NHS GP who's gone private to deal in environmental medicine, I personally think she knows what she's talking about.

    Victory,
all those recipes sound yummy but know any vegetarian ones??

    afternoon all

Jenpoptab, keep us posted on that quark cheesecake! I'd be overjoyed to hear it works as i just can't find good diet desserts.

and pet, the westie is the Poppy Dog ( source of the Poppy in my username) she belongs to my mum and is known affectrionately by my OH as The Drooling Mandibles of Death.

Didn't get around to cheesescake- will try it later hopefully! Tried Alaska instead which was a disaster as I got yolk in the egg white so wouldn't whisk to fluffy mix, gave up in the end, will try another day.

I too use Pop in my username as in Poppy as that's my eldest daughter's name, Tab as in Tabitha (youngest daughter), Jen for me (Jenny)

Excellent! I try not to take anything the web tells me as gospel as too often I don't bother reading around the bit of information I try to find so its great that you can endorse her...might go have a bit more of a read now...

I have failed big time....had porridge for breakfast then a banana when I got into work then my work colleague decide to repeatedly offer a chocolate croissant to me....I resisted twice.....crumbled at the third pass beneath my nose....I love choc croissants.....mmmmmm.....

I know what you mean about the net Serendis so glad I could help.

As for not making the best choices, I seem to be having an absolute mare:eek: since I got back! I can't believe I have been looking forward to this time for so long, and now all my drive has gone out of the window!

I know it's partly because of my illness, partly being so poorly since I got home (still not recovered fully) and the stress/frustration that's going on here but I REALLY NEED TO GET STARTED!!! Can someone please help??

I'm thinking of resorting to posting my 'before' photos, including one of me in my bikini (our 3km stretch of beach was completely deserted, only reason it saw the light of day!) but it might just make me cry (about to be TOTM):D

I'm kinda smiling but really I'm tearing my hair out... (got a smiley for that anyone?)

Any bright ideas gratefully received (even stating the obvious which I already know but need to be TOLD) so I can get my head round it today and make a concerted effort from tomorrow. Thanks guys x
