Hi everyone, well done to all the losers and maintainers, welcome to all the newbies. Just a quick post to report a maintain for me this week, at least I haven't put any more on. Have cut back this week but obviously need to be stricter with myself. I found this dieting malarky much easier in the summer can't really get back into it at the moment.
Anyway hope every ones keeping well, have a good week.

suggs it is those damn boots scales and you know it;) :D

Have to admit Victory, they weren't level today and actually for a first the Boots scales weighed more than the home scales, normally its the other way round. But thats only a lb or 2 if that.

...Suggs Don't panic!!! It'll come off by next week. You work too hard to warrant a gain like that, it's just a blip:D ...

thanks pet, Im sure it will be a blip, now remeber when you lok at yourself in the mirror, yes you may see some fat, but s long as its less and less fat then what the hey! Even beanpoles still have a body% of fat. besides Im sure MrP loves you for it?

Intervals will be just fine thanks Suggs!

Ajax doesn't seem to have been around much lately, do you think he's found new mates to play with?

Bails I did 22mins on the cross trainer and 21mins on the bike, worked out at 877calories burnt. and I asked the person who insists on not wiping the machines down after use to please do so. Sorry but it annoys me  Couldn't get on the treadmill Im afraid.

Ajax posted this on Monday, it seems he is actually working for a change :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello everyone, sorry for the distance between posts... I'm an extremely busy little ajaxgeezer these days, and have taken to unhealthy snacks/meals on the go to get me through last and this week, and then I'm going away from Friday to Monday. The scales await with a tremble, I'm sure. Will weigh in Weds and try to post again before Friday. Loves you all!!!!

Well done spirit and jenpoptab on your losses, K1mmie, welcome to the group, I see victory and Petrichor have introduced themselves and good the usual very good advice. I dont follow any plan in particular, just exercise more and eat more healthly and it worked for me.

Well done to all the losers and a much bigger WELL DONE to all the gainers and maintainers who are staying positive. It's so much harder when the scales aren't moving the right way.

A question for (i'm guessing) the females.... as soon as I really get into a low fat diet my nails (which are pretty awful at the best of times) start flaking and splitting. It's happened often enough that it can't just be a coincidence. Does any one else notice this and if so what could I do about it? Shall I eat rather a lot of chocolate?

Thank Lois for posting my recipe. I made enough for at least ten people ... there were four of us .... and it seems to freeze successfully. So that's lots of red day dinners. (Note to self ... do not eat 6 servings in one go)

    Hi guys,

Well since I suggested it, here's my first contribution to the winter comfort food collection: Hope you like it.

    hearty beef stew

Clearly, not for veggies. but the beef can be replaced with beef style quorn pieces. I'm sure the result would be the same. Just remember to adjust the fat/cal content.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
