Good morning!!!
Can I just say wooo!! 1lb down....
Managed to go to the gym 3 times this week but the munching has been all over the shop! Off to do a food shop tonight so hopefully I can be more organized for this week. It also helps that I finally have a weekend at home with no visitors or obligations so I am looking forward to just chilling out.
I wouldn't stress too much about your body fat % pokey as it will vary dramatically and like someone else pointed out if its going in the right direction its a good indicator. I think this is also a harder benchmark as obviously your fat % is high as you need to lose some weight but a skinny minnie could also have a high percentage if they weren't fit and toned also. I don't know whether you have any restrictions on exercise or not but maybe mixing it a little resistance training will help tone you up and increase the muscle mass a bit more? two water bottles or tins of beans are great cheap weights. But by concentrating on bringing the weight down you will see a reduction in your body fat percentage over time but it should be recognized that this may be a slower target to follow overall....
On the up side...you have lost a fantastic 7lbs...which is not to be sniffed at in any shape or form!!
I stumbled across this site which has quite a few interesting articles...it has some explaining body fat % but also water retention, excercise and diet.

Forgive me group for I have sinned, it seems the weekend away took its toll and I have gained 5lb to say I am totally gobsmacked is the understatement, considering I wasn't able to hold water on Saturday morning, this beats the gains from my other 2 weekends away this year.
Bails I would love to say it was almost a loss, but............;)
Still I hope it is only artifcial and in the next week or so things will sort itself out. Just in time to go to Cario
Well done to Grannynise and Serendisglair :j:j and welcome to Pokey, dont worry about the body fat score, just as long as it continues to drop
Right Im packing and heading to the gym.Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Hi guys, I'm pleased to report 1.5lb loss, so that is just 0.5lb to first goal.
Am going to attempt a WW cheesecake later, never used quark before so I hope it comes out nice! Also going to try WW baked alaska as treat this weekend. Have never made this either so hope it's not a disaster.
Dough in breadmaker for granary rolls to have hotdogs later- I can't wait!WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030 -
Suggsy, gobsmacked you may be but you know it's nowt to worry about - you've shifted more than that v quickly in the past. The body is a mystery sometimes, just keep doing your thang and it will settle itself down soon enough. It's probably still in shock that you stole so much of it away, lol!
Lift some weights for me at the gym...oh, and 15 mins on the treadmill would be fab!:DThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Thanks Bails, I sure it will sort itself out, heading to the gym now, hopefully the annoying people that fail to wipe the machines down are not in today
As for 15mins on the treadmill, can I interval it?Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Hi everyone
I have lost 2lb this week. That is the good news.
The bad news is that I also got a diagnosis of Diabetes. I have been such an idiot wilfully ignoring that being overweight has a price. No one to blame but myself.

Hi Guys. Have to confess this is my first posting on this thread. Have used nearly all the others, but think I have been putting it off for far too long. Not a good time to want to commit to this as skint and can't afford a luxury supermarket and healthy shop. However, have just decided to go back to work after 15 years bringing up the kids and my confidence is seriously hindered by my weight. So looking for advice to kick start me in to touch. Been reading your posts and lots of people doing great by the sound of it. Keep up the good work.0
