Ask the butcher to cut some slices off a joint of topside. Bash the slices a bit to make them thinner (NB not a good idea for people). Marinate for 24 hours (mine were in soy sauce, dry sherry, ginger and garlic) then put the stuffing on them. I used chopped spinach, slightly cooked green beans, asparagus and carrot sticks. Roll them up, pour some marinade over them, put them in the oven loosely covered at Gas 3 for an hour. Much cheaper than a joint of beef and guaranteed to be tender. Use the pan juices to make a sauce with some extra stock and cornflour.
I would have put this on the recipe thread but have no idea how to do that. Maybe someone clever could move it?
MMmmm ... this sounds gorgeous, my mouth is watering at the thought of it!
I've put it on the recipe's thread for you.

Just a real quickie to wish everyone well, especially all of those chilly folks in need of comfort food (and those of us who are just eating the comfort food anyway;) - fish and chips, white doughy bread for a chip butty, glass of wine, apple and blackberry crumble and icecream, Dairy Milk Giant Buttons...:D).
About to settle down to watch a film with the lovely OH post-chat - it's our 2 year anniversary tomorrow so won't be about much but will be back on soon. Will PM the lovely peeps (you know who you are) on Thursday, til then, thank you!:kisses3: xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Evening all :hello:
Welcome back Marion, and a big well done for giving up smoking, and for only gaining 7lbs, that's definitely an achievement when you were away for 7 weeks. I'm still around, but I've handed over the 2lb club to Delly and Efrieze so that I can concentrate on doing some exercise. You may be daunted at the prospect of having another 12 stone to lost, so it may cheer you up to know it has been done before - when I first started doing SW, there was a story in the paper about someone who lost 19 stone!
Bails - sorry to hear you're feeling down. I hope the chat with your OH goes well.
BB - I've only been to Brighton when it's been sunny, so I find it hard to imagine it miserable and wet! It was awful here this morning too, and I had to drive up to Doncaster in pouring rain, but thankfully it had stopped by the time I got there so I didn't arrive at the meeting looking like a drowned rat, and it was sunny by the time I came back.
LGDNUFC - I'm so pleased we solved the mystery of your middle name, maybe we should start trying to guess your last name now...!
Karren - well done, a lb is good, especially if you're struggling.
Anic - I'm well impressed at your weight loss, nearly a stone in a month! I hope the doctor/nurse was suitably impressed too - well done.
LydiaSophia - well done, another person to join the target members club. What plan did you follow?
Delly - I did your curry sauce recipe tonight - it was gorgeous. Hope you're getting plenty of rest and making a good recovery.
I hope everyone is doing well. Congratulations to all who've posted their results so far, and good luck to anyone else who is weighing in tomorrow.

Hi all
Ive just had a mini pizza for my tea (made with tesco's kids wholewheat wrap as the base - only 70cals - lovely!)
Now watching Heston Blumenthal making a blackforest gateau (7 layers of different chocolate variations - how desparate am i for a wee slice!) 0mg he now has a paint roller of chocolate and a paint gun filled with chocolate...
Anyway, I was looking for some opinions on body fat. I am just so lost with it all - I have lost 7lbs in the past 3 weeks and according to my fancy schmancy body fat scales - only 0.2% body fat. What am i doing wrong??!
I have a body fat % of 43.5% and am 14stone 3lbs. Help me!!!0 -
Well done karren:j and beanie:j I'm sorry to see that you're both struggling, but at least you're going in the right direction. We all hit these horrid stages, but they do pass!...
...The stew was very nice, there's plenty left for all of youI allowed myself a tiny portion, also had some brussel sprouts :j but feeling a tad windy now
...
...because of the bad weather this morning MrP gave me a lift up to my mother's home, so my step count isn't as high (currently 16778), I keep trying to jog on the spot so that I can reach 20,000 but MrP keeps saying "For ***** sake SIT DOWN" :rotfl: ...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
