Colleague cut slices and i have to admit had a bit my excuse was he just out it down in front of me. It was LUSH!!! but it was a really tiny slice so not too bad..but then no one put the cake away so I had to look at it for an hour...it was sitting there just staring at me:eek:
It was saying eat me, eat me and I had to come back to the office and log on here and tell you all about it. I am going to run extra hard at the gym tonight..sorry to go on but it's incredible how guilty a bit of !!!!!! cake can make you feel.....

Crickey - miss reading this for a week and it takes you another week to catch up! Been very naughty this week - blaming it on stress at work as boss was on hols and I was trying to do his stuff and making a real pigs ear of most of it! Never mind - he is back now and I will try to get onto the wagon. Did not weigh myself yesterday - too scared of result. Will weigh in again next Wednesday.
Right, off to do some serious catching up on how everyone is doing!
Love Katyk0 -
lol too:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: love this site. Glad I made you laugh..you have to have a joke don't you otherwise I will crack up!!!
Hint people might find useful- bought toothbrush and toothpaste to work today...apparently according to three woman on the bus yesterday it stops cravings..i literally ran all the way home and squeezed the whole tube in my mouth...it was so, so funny!! I was earwigging on their conversation the whole way home, pretending to text!!
Tonight am having chicken fajitas..lovely organic chicken breast, with the peppers, and onions, got some organic flour tortilla wraps..(less calories than normal ones also, which is good). Won't have any sour cream, just salsa...yummy am excited just thinking about it. Won't be able to log on after 5.30 as don't have computer at home, so will look forward to reading all your stories tomorrow (that's if I don;t get sacked for mis-use of the internet in the workplace)

I have had a think about my frustrations and I think It might be an idea to start a food and activity diary, I guess the IT side of me is coming out to play, study it down to the nth degree
What are peoples experience with these?? do you go online or just plane old write them down? Does anyone do these???
Thanks
The gym I go to is registered with fitlinxx
(https://www.fitlinxx.com)
It automatically records all the excercise you do. You have to register for it (not sure if you have to belong to an affliliated gym though) and it has a manual log for things like aerobics.
Fitday.com is also good as you can record both food and activity but I find the food diary tiresome as you have to properly search all the bits and pieces.0 -
Were the freddo's with caramel? yummy
I treat myself to one from my corner shop everynow and then havent had a sherbet dib dab in ages, did you time travel back to your youth??? :j:j
Good luck in the gym, hope it goes well
I prefer the solid chocolate ones :-) not a bad chocolate choice for about 100kcals...
The sherbet dib dab was also ace...the newsagents down the road does all the old time sweets...Just waiting to spot a wispa in the shops again now...
Had a few weeks of disillusionment which is normal for my dieting self...get cheesed off for a bit then have to start all over...
nevermind...looking forward to the gym tonight...I try and do ten minutes on two of the Cardio (bike, treadmill or crosstrainer) then 3 weights stations...fits into about an hour then so I still have time to get back and cook for the other half.0 -

new washing machine blew all the power in the house last night. Went comfort shopping and bought a mushroom growing kit instead of vast amounts of chocolate. go me! and lol to mistywoo, I know just how you feel and well done for having the bottle to admit it. I've had roundly deserved gain this week for exactly the same reason. Maybe we can both do better this week?
Doing another JO recipe tonight - will post it if it's any good. Has anyone got any advice for me about syn counting gammon stock? Or could someone ask a consultant? This is the only drawback with bodyoptimise - there is nowhere to ask questions!
so sorry, You've asked the gammon question twice and I twice thought of a reply but never quite hit the button...probably too late now....
My approach to homemade stock is if left to cool the good stuff can be separated from the solid fat. I think solid fat is normally whats bad for us and you'd still be retaining the taste and goodness of the stock. Chicken stock is great for combating illnesses. I also have a slight problem in that I refuse to allow dieting to mess with some of my cooking and I'm guessing stock is one of them.
I also pondered the macaroni cheese fiasco discussed way back in this thread or the last...if it used to be a free food...why isn't it still a free food so long as you are not liquidizing it down to create sauces...sometimes I think the diet plans need to be taken with a pinch of salt and a little common sense applied...but then again this is probably one of my downfalls...0 -

Do any of you lovely peeps have some ideas for me? I'm pulling my hair out!!!!
JM xx
I know there have been some good ideas already but I'll put my idea in too. What about crudites with some home made dips .... houmus made with a can of chickpeas, garlic, vlf fromage frais ... whizz it all up. Pate made with fried (frylite) chicken livers, garlic, onions, vlf from frais. Add herbs and spices to taste in both of these.
Now what are you doing for the main and pud? I've got friends coming on Sunday. main course is beef olives (long thin vegetables in the middle rather than a fatty stuffing) and home made fish pate for a starter. But I'm stuck on pud, I don't really want to do a fruit salad which is all that comes to mind. They are quite foody people and sadly I feel the need to impress. Any pudding ideas? (Have to be quick and easy as well as impressive ... no pressure peeps!)0 -
Dare I say a Coke can ring? Thats the child side of me coming out. :rotfl::rotfl: Surely MrV can spend a few pennies on you, after all your worth it!
Mistywoo has touched on what I said about personal possession cover, Just that I forgot to mention the home insurance cover! Thanks mistywooI checked my cover and under personal possessions Im covered for £500 jewellery home or abroad
hope it helps
He just did, well the xmas ring was £235 (replacement ring!) when they ask for all the travel details they also ask for your home cover insurance which we sent with it (they say it will not affect it) they have had both, reviewed both and have said that no. all I am covered for is the wedding ring don't understand it myself:cool:0 -
