Hi Seren - just pretend your SW books are out of date!
Seriously though, SW used to work when things like macaroni cheese and corned beef were free food, so providing you don't do daft things like pureeing it, there's no reason why it would make you gain weight.

Hey all, I was very good today, not only did I do an extra shift in work (56 hours coming to me next Fri!) I also didn't pop to the bakery next door! I don't often go but their cheese & onion pastys are lush.
Instead I had my weetabix and a banana.
I had my poached eggs this morn, and crackers, ham, tuna, pickled onions and salad for dinner.
This last week I've been craving pickled onions, I've not had any for months. I've almost gone thru the jar I bought on Monday!

Shall we play guess the middle name - I reckon on Gertrude...!
LL
p.s. I'm a closet magpie's fan myself, being half geordie.
my middle name isnt Gertrude(thank god) no disrespect to any Gertrudes out there, but im only 33 and i dont think I could forgive my parents if it was!!!
Glad to hear you are a closet magpie fan!!! HOOWAY THE TOON!!! :T0 -
Man, my internet's been down most of the day, v annoying!
First things first - I LOVE Freddos!!! I'm a solid chocolate girl too (didn't know how many calories they were, figured it wasn't small but when I don't know the amount it's much easier to eat lots of them!!).
And all this talk of puddings is making my mouth water...
Sorry no help with recipe ideas tonight, struggling to be upright really but SOOO bored (I should be used to it by now but still not easy sometimes:rolleyes:).
Having a bit of a mare today with food - OH made one of the recipes from my GL cookbook, looked lovely but I couldn't taste a thing! The only thing I can taste is some Bastogne biscuits I brought back from France and rediscovered the other day, and now I've munched several of them:mad:
Needed to come on here to escape them but as the internet was down...you get the idea.
Anyway, I'm off to bed to try and make this darn thing disappear. Usually the honey, lemon and ginger work a treat but no luck this time - we don't really 'do' medicine in our house, has anyone got any alternative ideas I can try before I have to resort to Boots?
Thanks peeps, hope you're having a fun evening, good luck at the gym those of you who are going (I can't WAIT to be able to say that on here one day:D- I LOVE sport, more than I love Freddos!)

Ooh...bails talking about bed just made me remember a question I wanted to ask!
I have always had trouble sleeping, and I love a nice milky hot chocolate before bed. Doe's anyone have a low fat, heathly bed time drink idea?

Oops, still here Raphael! I just have hot skimmed milk, not sure if that'll do it for you though? Or camomile tea? In terms of 'sleep hygiene', I could waffle on for ages about how to get a good night's sleep. Having a set routine that you do every night is recommended, for example. I find the best way to get myself to sleep is to count my breaths...that's BREATHS Ajax (it wouldn't take very long otherwise
). I have only once got to 50, and I was a proper insomniac!
Hope you find something that works for you, I can suggest some other things to try tomorrow if you like, but I really DO have to go to bed now. Step a-way from the laptop Bails...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hi Suggs - why not give http://www.calorie-count.com/ a try - you can keep track of what you eat and how many calories you use each day, and you can also log exercise, with every activity you can imagine (including [strike]sex[/strike] scrabble!).

Have you tried Cadbury's High Lights? - they're 40 calories each (I think) and they come in lots of different flavours.
