Morning All
I see a few of us are busy ot hiding in the Lab!!
As is normal for me, the week leading upto leave is very busy, I was in the office all day yesterday working through a reposnse to tender, have to try and finish it tomorrow evening or Friday lunchtime at latest.
Anyway, I think it was bails, yes me and son had a good weekend, we all did actually. I didnt play rugby, so I spent time with them. It was my Dads 65th birthday yesterday and elder brother next week.
I have over the last week, gone back on my usual pre-target, gym routine to lose the artifcal gain after Skegness, as I mentioned I didnt play rugby either on Saturday, So I was very happy to report after visiting Boots a loss of 8lb as its part the articial gain, its only a real loss of 3lb over 2 weeksyes I am trying not to get the sotw
One other thing I have over the last few weeks, been weighing myself on Mondays after rugby and without fail, my weight rises, and drops again by wednesday. I am guess the different form of exercise in rugby means the body stores up 'just in case' This Monday no gain, as I didnt play??
Big well done to BrightonBelle on your new sizing:j well dones also to Grannynise, rachel a1, LGD, queenie, newlywed, justmarried, victory as well (apologises Victory I copied your list
) Perfect 10 and maintian in a good thing, fingers crossed for next week, If you gain, never fear, Day one is here!!
Welcome to the newbies as well.

morning all
some amazing losses, nice to see Suggs back online again and doing so well! V impressed at BB's getting into her trousers again thats fantastic news and v jealous at Granny's going to Florence. My A Level English teacher used to say that if you can only visit one place in your life it should be Florence because it's the beautiful place in the world.
Got myself some serious Harry action last night - I love it when he's all masterful like that. And Adam managed to not whine about his kid for a whole episode! V worried about Saf though . . . . .still, heroes tonight! My friends and I have what could be a bad habit of describing things we like as p*rn - so chocolate is p*orn, hazelnut liqueur is p*rn and watching Heroes is definitely p*rn. Watching Doctor Who is Hardcore. Dutch action.0 -
1/2 lb loss for me this week. Not too bad, considering I have just come back from 3 days in Rome (hence the lack of appearance on this thread). Which means that I have finally reached the 6 stone weight loss mark (I've only been nearly there for about 4 weeks!!!). Need to try hard this week to do better otherwise might not meet the October challange which would upset me.
BTW Where's Ajax???
Chart later...
Well done efrieze, Huge Congratulations on reaching the big milestonesorry was typing my message and you snicked in
Ajax posted last week, he is a very busy Ajax, I shall quote the young man for you
" Hello everyone, sorry for the distance between posts... I'm an extremely busy little ajaxgeezer these days, and have taken to unhealthy snacks/meals on the go to get me through last and this week, and then I'm going away from Friday to Monday. The scales await with a tremble, I'm sure. Will weigh in Weds and try to post again before Friday. Loves you all!!!!"Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Morning (well mid-morning) everyone!
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to those people who have just made me laugh out loud (a feat on any day but especially today) - Serendisglair and Katiepoppycat, you're stars! (I still like Adam...swoon!)
Newlywed, I love the idea of the label on the outside of the clothes when you can get into a smaller size like BB (glad they're not on the outside of my clothes at mo tho).
Suggs, well done on the weight loss, knew you could do it! And the weigh ins after rugby are certainly interesting...
Efrieze, the 6 stone milestone, how fantastic!!:T
Perfect10, I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so low. Can I ask what you have been doing to lose weight so far? I see you have lost some since you started, how many weeks have you maintained? (sorry, I was away). Personally, I feel that I would fall off the wagon without weighing in regularly but each person is different so if you feel once a month is better for you, then see how that works out. Wishing you lots of luck.
Grannynise, well done to you too, I think focusing on the overall trend is a great idea and one I might adopt (once I actually start a trend!:D)
Well done to everyone else I may have missed this post.
As for me, well the scales have been messing me around this week (naughty scales!) but I managed to lose the weight that I put on after last week's weigh in AND, I'm now happy to report, another 2 pounds (despite TOTM)!:j I could NOT have done it without all of you so a big THANKYOU for your support this week especially.
I've got my informal interview for a voluntary post teaching children with my illness today so hopefully it won't be long now til I'm back to work (although the CRB check will take at least 6 weeks ). CAN'T WAIT!!!:j
Have a great day all xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hello to all my ickle (and hopefully getting ickler by the minute) friends in here.
Weird not posting for two weeks then coming back to find my nick in the last message posted. Scary! It would be much too much hard work to read everything since then, so I just won't bother, I'll do this page and the chart instead, then stop there
Suggster, thanks for the above message.
KPC, thanks for doing your best to keep everything at gutter level during my absence. let's talk Dutch action in PM
Page/chart maintainers and updaters thanks for your input as always. Just one thing - I tried to instantly view the current chart through the link on the first page, but that points to a chart in late September.
Well done to all losers, and welcome to any newbies.
Right then, here's the Ajax update. Since the last chart I've not even attempted to be good food wise while busy at college/work/holiday but did stay on the wagon for 16 days as promised (somehow). Didn't half make up for that this weekend though in the caravan. I've gained 7lbs over the two weeks and that was totally expected... it's probably on the good side of expectations, all things considered. That period is over and now though it's back to good work again. No obstacles in sight until MrsA's birthday in early December now, so no excuses.
The days of sitting in front of the PC at work and reading the thread all day seem to have gone. I was getting bored here so asked to take on something extra to assist the union, so I'm now our company Union Learning rep. I didn't realise the level of involvement, so am snowed under with finding courses, providers, online stuff.. the list is endless, and of course everyone has different needs and wants. Skills For Life is most important though, and it's rewarding seeing those who want to learn (but never had full opportunity for one reason or another) be able to make a go of things. Anyway, I digress.... I'll be around still, just not as much.
PS.. thanks for those who have PMed, I'll answer them today as soon as poss.0 -
Hello lovely peeps! A bit of a longer post this lunchtime now I've cleared the sea of emails after a week out - bit of a shame really, I'd started to think I got paid for sitting on tinternet all day reading through MSE forums!!!:p
bails I'll have everything crossed for the interview, am sure you'll be fabulous keep us posted! And massive congrats on the loss, we know how hard you've been finding it recently so you must be over the moon :T
bb wicked news on the trousers!! I'm admitting to being a little jealous, so you've spurred me onthink I'll have to pull my finger further out of my [strike]cake[/strike] bottom and get on with it!!!
ajax its good to have you back although I'm completely sure that the tone is going to go back through the floor again - how are things under the desk these days?!
Welcome to all the new bods too - I've not been on here long but the guys and gals on here are amazing and the support invaluable, I find this more inspiring than meetings I've been to in the past on all sorts of plans!!
Congrats again to all the losers out there and to maintainers too, sometimes I think thats the hardest thing to do!! And for those who may have had a gain keep at it, as Suggs says, day one here we come!
By the way grannynise I love the confirmation that all the calories run out of the cut edge of a stollen - reckon this works with carrot cake too? Oh, I forgot, I can have that free as its made of vegetables:D Also, did you know if you suck things rather than chewing/crunching there's no calories in that either?!:rotfl: Down ajax, no comments please!!!!!
As promised, some clues for whoever has got me for the swap box - although if its done already please pay no mind to these at all, I'm just looking forward to a surprise! And again, I'm slightly jealous as you're clearly far more organised that I am!!!!!
I love reading, card making, chocolate, cheese, my slow cooker, walking, socialising, relaxing, candles, actually I'm fairly easy!!!!!! I'll love whatever I get sent, am getting very excited!!!
WI tonight - am half dreading and half looking forward to it - one more pound and then its my first stone off :j shouldn't speak too soon though as its been a less than angelic week! Have readjusted my halo though and polished up my wings :A so keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!!!
Speak soon,
JM xxxxProud to be dealing with my debts :T DFW Nerd: 2410 -
