Other info: I'm like bails - allergic to quite a lot of smelly stuff (especially lavender! go figure!) so that's a risk I wouldn't take.
Ooh Delly, I think that's Brighton Belle not me - the only thing I'm allergic to these days is plasters (so if you had that on your shopping list for me I'm sorry)
Petrichor, my OH and I love that joke!! I shall be passing that on definitely, if I can remember it:rotfl:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

...Delly I hope you're feeling a bit better today , I've loved reading your posts about Angels, do they help people to believe in them? Please tell us more.
Petrichor - yes, Angels can help you to believe in them in a number of different ways. For example, if the topic is always on programmes you watch on tv or 3 different people who are unrelated to one another suddenly start talking about them it's called synchronicity and your Angels are trying to bring themselves to your attention. Again, they operate within the laws of free will, which means that unless you are a life threatening situation, they cannot help you unless you ask.
If you're looking for proof that Angels exist, the simplest ways are to ask them to prove it. Angels can manifest their presence through white feathers and butterflies but you can also ask them to prove that they are there by helping you. For example, asking for a convenient parking space or I've heard of one Cof E vicar asking for all the traffic lights on his journey home to be green and it's happened. (both have happened for me).
So, if you want to ask if your Angels are there (they are), take a moment and close your eyes and ask them to send you a feather. It may be that a feather lands on your front door, or you suddenly find a white feather on your clothes that you don't know where it came from, or you may even spot a white feather on the street when you look down in a place where you never usually look down.
The thing is, you have to be open to the idea for it to happen. Angels can manifest feathers from nowhere if they need to, but will use feathers that are around too (they can take the easy way out too).
Again, if you want to know more, just ask me and I'll help as best I can.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

Just back from a very disappointing trip to the gym! I made it a priority today (despite postponing a back to work informal interview) as a last minute boost before weigh in this week but wish I hadn't now!
The class was called Gentle Exercise which I thought would be ideal but when I got there the instructor told me they'd just renamed the Nifty Fifties class. I was expecting lots of older people anyway but most of them were 70+ and totally fair play to them all, but it made me feel ancient before my time, you know? The instructor was rubbish too (far too used to having 'the usual crowd' who know all the routines so didn't give you advance warning of what the next step was, sometimes not saying anything at all and it was in a hall so big I found it difficult to see what she was doing!!). Anyway, it was horribly demotivating for me ( a far cry from my marathons etc) so I was brave and left after half an hour. I was almost in tears but decided to laugh it off instead:D I just have to avoid eating through my disappointment now...
So that's one class I can cross off my list...
Well done to all the losers this week, people seem to be having a better week so far which is great! I hope I do too!The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Oh no!! There is nothing so disappointing that being let down by something you are trying hard at! Try and put it behind you bails...cross it off and try another one...
The Yoga went well so there is bound to be some other type of classes out there. I think it is more their loss than yours as you made the effort to go and gave it a go....keep it up0 -

Hello all!!:hello: Well I am back from my long weekend at bro's, was a bit worried about putting my lost weight back on, especially as we had a chinese take-out, lots of alcohol and meal out at an italian restuarant (which was heavenly).
Weighed myself this morning and I am pleased, I've only gained 0.8 lbs!!:D I thought I'd at least put on 2lbs.
So put me down for a 0.8 lb gain this week.
I've also decided that now I'm close to my target I'm going to move the goal down to 210 lb (15st) to keep me on my toes. Bring it on!!

My trouble is I get bored in the evenings, and start picking at stuff - I know it's nothing to do with the food itself, but more to do with how I feel but that's about as far as I can get - before I eat something!!
I get really bad if I am alone in the evenings so I have started to have a long bubble bath with a book or newspaper. It stops me eating but usually spoils the newspaper as I can't keep it dry! My DH has hot chocolate and peanut butter on toast every evening before bed so I clean my teeth so I am not tempted!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
