Katiepoppycat - are we allowed to give a bit more info about ourselves to help people with the boxes? Don't want to spoil the idea/surprise but I notice some people are worrying a bit about it which is the last thing I want - for the record, I'm very easy going and will be over the moon with whatever I receive, just excited at the thought of a little pressie popping through the door!

katyk, glad you enjoyed the chickpeas. They do go crunchy but it can take time. don;'t be scared to turn the oven temperature up a bit ofr leave them in for longer. they go crunchy rather crispy if thats any help.

I would like to rejoin you all after a few weeks of really not being in control of my eating or my life. My weighing in day is Wednesday but I had a sneaky weigh today and as a result of all the hotel, motorway foods again I have gained but I will do my utmost to get back down by Wednesday so I can at least have a maintain again this week.
The weekend away was wondeful and just what I needed after the last few weeks,and all inclusive, but I found it dificult to find low fat and healthy foods on the menus.
I will spend some time this afternoon reading your messages and taking dog for a walk.

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome & for the advice given so far. I had a surprise package delivered this morning. A very nice mascara from loreal that retails at about £9 from some giveaway I can't remember entering so i'm just gonna have some weight watchers tomato soup & take my daughter (& my new fluttery eye lashes!!) for a walk into town & a sneeky weigh in at boots. i'll let you know how its gone. not holding out much hope though!!Life is like a box of chocs ..... i've got a soft centre but I ate the whole box.

Hi peeps a bit of help if you could....:D
Just been to Argos and bought the 1/2 price WW body fat precision electronic scales cat no 832/1846 silver, anyway it says put P.O 1 in as in person 1 etc did all that but the readings rush through, the BMI,body fat and I cannot seem to bring them back to look at them again to record them on my chart, I know they are recorded within the machine as I am Person 1 but how do I get them to come back and look at them again?:D0 -
bails - the Angel quest thing was a day of talks and meditiations on connecting to your Guardian Angel. ( I know, it sounds way "out there" but I was genuinely looking forward to it.)
I do believe that Angels exisit and all you have to do is ask for help and you'll get it (even to help get a parking space) but I also believe that yesterday was a bit of a rip off and wasted £40 I could ill afford at the minute.
Today hasn't started much better. My younger brother (he's 25) owes me money and with OH being off work on the sick - we asked him for it last night and he's gone running off crying to my mum (he's never going to grow up) and my OH and I are now fighting about it.
I'm going to try and get back on the wagon tomorrow. I can't keep eating like this and not being able to do any exercise and not think I'm going to put on weight.

Delly, the Angel day sounds interesting, shame you thought it was a rip off in the end! Sorry to hear things still not great - anyone owing you money is difficult enough but when it's friends or family it's SO much worse. Hope you get it sorted soon, and try not to fight with OH when you two aren't the issue (easy to say I know).
As for the eating, try to find some space (emotionally) for yourself and tell yourself that despite everything that's going on around you, you deserve to look after yourself. Go back to basics as I had to a few days back and keep it simple.
