Today hasn't started much better. My younger brother (he's 25) owes me money and with OH being off work on the sick - we asked him for it last night and he's gone running off crying to my mum (he's never going to grow up) and my OH and I are now fighting about it.

Hi delly
sorry you are not having agood time at the mo. As bails says, try and focus on your bro having the problem here, not you and OH. Sounds like "kick the cat" syndrome (bad day at the office and you take it out on the cat when you get home). Is his illnesss something you can see the end of in due course or is this going to be a long term problem? (not wanting to pry though)
I expect his self esteem is low not being able to be the bread winner at the mo which would fuel his (justified) annoyance at your brother. He's probably feeling useless, and you're under parr too. Tough times. Hope it passes soon. You are doing amazingly well even to think of losing weight while recovering fom an op.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
•
Mmmm 4 caramel digestives and a bag of crisps later methinks I have no excuse for avoiding the gym later tonight :D
I've just looked it up Seren and 4 caramel digestives & a bag of crisps = 1 hr of exbike.gif+ 45 mins exercise.gif + 15 mins trampo.gif + 1hr of treadmill.gif

:D

Cripes!

Is there a fainting smiley anywhere...so so worth it....might manage to resist for the rest of the day now though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
• hmmm....based on my last workout which wasn't a great as normal but probably what I'm up to today I can burn 257 kcals in an hour so that will be approximately 3 biscuits...then I'm still within my syns (9 for crisps and 4 for a biccie) if I have a baked potato and spaghetti for my tea :p

That looks fun, can I join in?! :D I can't quite decide which smiley I like best... Right, I'm off to find some smileys, as I'm sick of cash for clicks!!

So what do we think peeps about giving a little bit of info about ourselves for the boxes? Yae or nae? Doesn't have to be personal stuff, just something that might help?

hi all - just come back from my nice walk along the river into town. (out of puff now). Popped into Boots while i was there not weighed since thurs. Its stayed the same which is good cos decided last night to use of some cooking apples and had a rather naughty apple crumble whilst watching top gear, then Alfie so glad i didn't put any more weight on. Have been good today though, 2 weetabix with ss milk for breakfast, tom soup & a Tesco HL tortilla for lunch. Think we're gonna have jacket pots for tea with bolognese sauce followed by a yoghurt. Might even get a chance to do workout dvd tonight after my little ones in bed & OH goes out. Must get in my mum's gym when i go round thursday.
Life is like a box of chocs ..... i've got a soft centre but I ate the whole box.

Great idea Serendis, I didn't think of that!

Fave food: hmm, why did you have to start with the hard one?! at the moment, curry and grapefruit!
Fave colour: purple
Fave place: up a mountain or out in the hills
hobbies: tricky at mo - normally all things sport but reading, writing, walking, swimming, photography, playing with my cat... :D
Fave smell: fresh air; anything fresh and citrusy
Things I love: animals - mine and all the ones I don't have yet! (did anyone see the baby kangaroo on N****bours today?!), nature, the outdoors

Any more questions you can think of?...
