Loveis Very well played

Maria I'm so sorry. I know just what its like owing real people money i.e small suppliers who you see face to face and desperately want to square up with. and the fact your husband concealed a cheque for your joint business's leaving you in the wind like that, is really pants in my opinion. Hugs to you." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi everyone

So, I was mad busy yesterday with work then dd's parents evening. Didn't get in until after 7, then we're struggling a bit with ds sleeping at the moment so I'm trying to sort that in amongst everything else. Good news is that dd is an absolute superstar. I couldn't be more proud of her - nobody had a single bad word to say about her.
:D:D
Today has been another completely non stop day at work as well. I feel exhausted and there are still 3 more weeks to go.
I've chalked up another couple of nsd's, the heating isn't on and I'm still on with the crafty Christmas.
Good luck to Katy ann, and thinking of you Foxgloves.
Hugs to all that need them. Not giving up

Oh Maria that's pants. And that finger in the dam feeling? Yeah that's me too.
DS upset me this morning because I washed his work stuff and he was called into work on his day off only to find his best work fleece was over the airer damp. He messaged me and I think I was just feeling fragile. He was very sorry when he knew.
Both jobs done, nothing spent, out this evening at school. Another busy day over and done with.0 -
Can't sleep so am sitting here trying to work out what wee things to get my DW for Decemberfest. I've bought her some secondhand DVDs from her wishlist but have no idea what to buy her as a surprise. There can't be any camera-ma-bob bits she doesn't own...

Cat Congratulations to DD, brilliant news.
Yorkshire Awwww the classic! It's always something I worry about wet clothing being needed, but if you didn't know he'd need it....
Ally A nice bottle of her favourite perfume/alcohol/new gloves?" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Morning totally exhausted today, drove back from my work meeting and didn't get home till 10.30pm!! Anyhow I had a NSD yesterday and free breakfast and dinner. Sitting in bed with a coffee contemplating the day ahead. Got some free biscuits given to me at work.
- almost £100 worth of expenses should be getting signed off by my boss as I type. I can't believe it got to that much because I have a company credit card too.
- so going into town today so buy or refill my ink cartridge. Would guess refill is cheaper
- follow up on these Best Western points
- wrap and parcel up a gift for America. Would have been good to send land mail but missed that boat for Christmas
- Write a couple of cards for my sis and parents to take with me this weekend (save on postage like LuckyLady)
- Buy a small Christmas gift for my DD
- Get forms so my DD can open a bank account (bless she put this on her Christmas list)
- Take some things I have bought back to the shops for a refund
- Pack bag for the weekend and print off hotel booking (bought through cashback site) and afternoon tea (bought through groupon and cashback) that we are going to enjoy for my sisters birthday.
- send text to slimming world consultant to book a holiday for next week. Away with work again.
- Top up costa card with work cashback site
- Buy some cheap books from the Works
- Pay in sealed pot money
- See what I can get with Nectar points (Double offer on at the mo - last day today I think)
- Pop in to Asda, I've seen on my facebook earlier on in the week that they were selling chocolate oranges for 50 pence - hope the offer is still on.
- Order a Mitchel and Butler voucher with cashback for Boxing Day meal out.
- Enter comps, FPL, Market research apps
- Bump Facebook posts
- Womble costa receipts

It's been busy here this week and I haven't read the thread since Monday, if I have time after posting I'll do my best to catch up.
Both Tuesday and Wednesday were NSD's, Thursday was only planned spends.
The heating has only been on minimum the last few days as we haven't lit the stove as we haven't been in much.
We had roast chicken they other night, afterwards we removed all the meat and froze in portions for future meals and made stock from the carcass in the slow cooker over night, the next day I dramatically reduced the liquid down and then froze in an ice cube tray, when we use the stock cubes we just add in water, saves lots of room in the freezer. I also picked over the bones after making the stock which filled a small tub.
OH starts a weeks AL today :j plan is to spend the time between sorting out the house, getting ready for Christmas and having fun as a family. We have some of our regular commitments, as well as visiting the in laws, we are also likely to have visitors next weekend. Think we need to plan well to make the most of the coming week.
Plan for today:
NSD
Stick to meal plan
All meals from stores
Make a batch of porridge
Set DW & WM to run over night
Make bread
Turn off all lights and appliances not in use
Light the stove when we get home midafternoon
Put kettle on stove for free hot water
Check bank accounts
Hopefully there will be more that I can add.
Have a lovely day everyone, hugs to anyone who needs one. Looks as if my time is up, I'll try and catch up later in the day if the opportunity arises.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Morning all,
Its a crisp, cold, blue skied morning here
Lots to do today so better get this list up
 Kids went to breakfast club at school - free
 Wrote a couple of xmas cards from ys stash
 Checked nectar balance - may use this for cinema trip as we have enough points
 Check banking
 Check luckyphone
 Try to catch up with our neighbour who's taken in a delivery when I was out yesterday
 Run washing machine on quick 30 degree wash
 Run dishwasher on quick wash
 All meals from stores, pizza out of the freezer for the kids, between them they'll finish off the hm soup from the other day too.
We're having the leftover spag bol, dh will have his with the end of a bag of oven chips, I'll have either a jacket spud or do some noodles with mine.
 Make another batch of the Weetabix choc cake to use up some nutribix (like Weetabix) that my sis had and didn't like
Made 2 of them, so used up the nutribix biscuits
The use up box is looking very bare finally!!
 General tidy round
 Dh car needs a headlight bulb replacing
and he's also got a chip in the windscreen, need to do some research!
 Wait in for delivery as if I miss it we'll have to go out of our way tomorrow to the sorting office which is in the opposite direction from where we will be tomorrow. (sods law it will come whilst i'm on the school run this afternoon!)
 Look through recent photos to see if there is something suitable to print to go in xmas card where you put a pic in, will then use these ys cards reduced from £2.99 to 29p at ms last year for my parents & inlaws
Right time for a :coffee: and then crack on!
Have a good day all, its nearly weekend
 Popped into B&M and picked up hot chocolate (kids) & coffee pods (hubby) as they had a 10% off for black Friday
 Called in the cs and picked up a pair of jeans for my eldest, they also had a pair of football boots in his size for £5, bargain!! He's only just started playing football after school and I don't know how long he'll stick with it but after the state his Clarks shoes/trainers were in this week after footie I think its worth a try!
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
