  • Hi FVD I fell off the wagon this year too but I am back, just in the nick of time! Working really hard at two jobs now which is exhausting but no other options at the moment.

So today. Tired, didnt sleep well so not a good start to the day. Have made cottage pie for tea but no celery or carrots. However plenty of stock, herbs, worcestershire sauce and a big onion so it will be fine. £34 in my purse - will be straight from one job to another today so no time to spend. No heating on this morning - dont think its that cold.

Hope Thursday is good for you all, catch you later x

Hi FatVonD  - and there is Ally back on queue ;) - your Christmas parcels sound lush!!
Yorkshirelass - I hear ya - I'm working job#2 tonight too. My top top re exhaustion is yoga nidra/relaxation - check out yoga nidra network for free downloads. :A

Big hellos to everyone else

I've got a team building day at work - that means free breakfast and lunch to me and you :rotfl: But I do need to take a flask of tea as last time we were tea deprived - it's in a hotel so just a little after dinner cup filled with luke warm tea or coffee. Y.U.K. so I'll be supplying my own from now on.

Best get off as need to sort YNAB/money situ and get there earlier than usual (registration from 8.30 and I don't usually get into work until 9.10...)

Catch up on the other side.
  • Hi guys quick post for me before I dash out the door, taking madam and her friend to one of those massive trampling centres :) spensive day for me as me, dd and madam out for dinner tonight. Must keep the faith in between!

  • Morning chums,

LuckyLady - I'm going to have to steal that weatabix recipe. Sounds like a great use and I'm sure I've some left in the cupboard I need to use up.

    Short list yesterday was ticketed off and todays will be shorter once again given that I have a quiz night tonight;

    - Check banks and YNAB
    - Bring lunch and snacks to work
    - Charge phone at work
    - Spend wisely at charity quiz night. Taking the car so I can stick to the water all night too,
    - See if I can manage time for a quick tidy up
    - Start taking my multivitamins again

That should do :) Have a nice Thursday everyone.

LuckyLady thing is NSDs are great but its keeping to your budget that really matters, and you are great at that.
    Thanks Bob

Thinking of Katy-Ann today, how exciting. I looked at my kids this morning and just can't believe how fast they are growing up. Its scary.

Little man was ok to go back to school today, he's passed it over my way though unfortunately as I feel bleuugh

Bob on a doing fab with the NSDs - I don't know how you go on with essentials like bread, milk, fruit etc?
    Bye for now all x

It's a matter of setting a target that's all. If you decide on 2 shopping days per week then on those days you get enough milk, bread, fruit etc to keep you going on the NSDs. It's really that simple. Anyone can achieve high numbers if they plan. To be honest I don't usually bother with so many because my own lifestyle lends itself to daily shopping and I am not given to blow outs at the supermarket. But the challenge I am doing has a goal of 22 this month so I'm trying :)

Sorry you are feeling poorly. Glad DS is better though.

I had a moment myself. I don't usually do the morning run as DH has to go to work anyway. Today DH was feeling a bit illl so I went. DS was totally unashamed about giving me huge hugs goodbye in front of his friends which was lovely. I just thought how is he 8?

Thank you Bob, I'm feeling much better then I was. I hope your dh is ok too. I guess we've got to make the most of the hugs whilst they're given so freely, that day will come when they don't want to be seen like that :( I need to give my two an extra big squeeze tonight as I wasn't feeling good this morning I was a grumpy with them and shouldn't have been :(

Just realised that I've missed a Christmas present off my list  It's for my neighbours daughter, ever since we moved in here they have always sent a present for not only my two but my niece as well. So it needs to be something decent as I just send one present back from the three of them. Off to the very depleted present box I go!

Yay the present box saved me having to spend anything else today :) I had a spa gift set that I had bought from a cs, but the package got damaged on the way home, I found a little wicker basket that I was given when my eldest was born which had toiletries or something in, given it a brush out and added some gold tinsel took the contents out of the damaged pack put them in, in my toiletries cupboard I also had a facemask, hair serum, eyebrow pencil and a body puff thing, also added a little xmas yankee candle that I got in a set last year, it looks really good :)
