    Morning Friday Frugalistas,
    Spent so long cleaning yesterday, have made executive decision not to do any today. Money saving bits & bobs as follows:
    *Freezer dive for dinner tonight. Courgette curry & dhal from freezer with rice.
    *Dough in BM for making bread rolls.
    *Wrote shopping list.
    *Finalised ingredients for the cake I now make annually as a Christmas present for my Dad.Will bake next week.
    *Christmas prep....esp. sourcing best prices for a few items on mr f's wishlist.
    *Construct a new sealed pot for mr f using recycled materials. Says he's saving £2 voins again.
    Ooops, BM doing something weird. Must go.

    Oh my word, so tired I'm hear, there and everywhere with work.
    Need to get on top of my MS stuff
    - still haven't checked bank accounts
    - need to work out cc overpayments
    - topped up Costa card with money reduced by 10% with work discount scheme
    - wombled a few more Costa point receipts last night.
    - shopping list then home bargains and Aldi
    - post eBay parcel a must
    I received a dress and two tops from everythingforfivepounds website and have to say I am pleasently surprised with the quality of the clothes. Wow the dress says London Collection on the label and the tops are New Look and they are current styles and can't recommend them enough. Not sure about the tops but confident that if I decide not to keep I'll be able to sell no problem!
    - bump Facebook posts
    - get a card from the card factory
    - quidco comp and any others that catch my eye
    - FPL
    That's all I can think of for now.

    - Swagbucks/My Survey/Nectar Canvass
    - Post Ebay parcel - Done
    - Go for a walk - Done
    - Meet hubby for coffee

    Afternoon all,

    Its been a really frustrating week, everything seems to have been 1 step forward and 2 steps back :o

    Today's list
    * Kids shared dh's leftover sandwich from lunch for breakfast + a slice of ys bread for toast each :)
    * Gym class done to make the most of my membership :)
    * Banking checked and moved a little bit around :)
    * Dad called in to have breakfast & look at kiddo2's bike as I couldn't get that to pump up. He couldn't either, think there must be a problem with the pump :(
    * I had a parcel to collect from the sorting office from Rm survey so went via ha1fords who very kindly used their pump for free and I now have a working bike. (well 2 working bikes after spending £60 the other day to get kiddo1 sorted) :)
    * Called into the Mr T next door and picked up 2 uncooked chicken £2.52 each, will stick these in the slow cooker over night ready for sunday lunch :)
    * Added a box of cereal to my shopping to go into the Food Bank collection point :)
    * Washed a load at 30 degrees on the quick wash, will hang these up by a radiator :)

    Still to do
    * Another load to go in the washer :)
    * D/washer on a quick wash :)
    * Prep veg for Sunday
    * Write Christmas cards :eek: Parents are going to a family funeral next week and seeing both their sides of the families so can get a lot of cards sent without any postage costs :)
    * General tidy round
    * Find bike helmets

    Have a good day all

    Ha ha jelly good :rotfl:

    Served to remind me I have jelly in the cupboard and frozen fruit in the freezer so that can be my snacks for work next week. :cool:

    I've been working from home most of the day today - feeling rotten, coughing and spluttering. Boo. Also slept really badly because my throat was so sore and also had to start work at 7.15am today, which was a shock to the system - surely it's nearly home time! :(

    Not much going on in small things world today - just the usual really. Got dropped off at work for a bit while OH was out - saw some people I needed to see, made a phone call, came back home...

    Meant to be helping OH with a few bits for his biz tomorrow - we need to check YNAB though as need to find some £££ from somewhere first - what a headache...

    Night in on the sofa methinks!

    Bob, glad the jelly cake turned out ok!
    La E, Hope you are feeling better soon.f

    Opened the kids lunch bags and 1 only ate 1/2 the apple and the other left the cherry tomatoes as they were too soft apparently hmmmmmm Other half of apple now chopped and added to a freezer bag ready for a crumble and the cherry tomatoes I chopped and added to their leftovers curry :) No waste happening here!

    After going over my budget spreadsheet yesterday and thinking I was there or thereabouts with were we needed to be. I found a formula hadn't copied correctly when I moved from Oct into Nov and it has taken ages today to get my spreadsheet right again. My whole months budget was based on an incorrect figure :eek: Can't believe I didn't spot it earlier, this spreadsheet is the same one that I've used for the past 8yrs without a problem. See, on my earlier post I said it was a one step forward, two back kinda week! Right I have vented now, I am going to forget about it and move on, cuddles with the kids should help :)

    Have a lovely evening guys
