Morning chums,
Managed to tick everything off my list for yesterday and aim to do the same today;
- Check banks and YNAB
- Bring lunch and snacks to work
- Charge phone at work
- Shower at the gym
- Attend free yoga class at gym
- Prepare lunch for tomorrow
- Read some of my book tonight
- Have an early night
That should do. Have a nice day all.

Thanks
If this makes you hungry, you should read Foxgloves' posts. She's a kitchen wizz! LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Oh my days.....I wouldn't say I was a kitchen whizz. But I did do a very comprehensive Food & Nutrition O'level which meant I really learned how to cook at school. We learned how to make 6 different types of pastry, how to use up leftovers & how to adapt dishes to be economical. Our cakes were graded marks out of 10 on the teacher's desk so we tried hard not to be the one with the shonky bolognese or cake!

Morning all,
Just sitting down with a coffee. Today is mostly a cleaning day but hoping to fit in a bit of leisure time later:
*Clean whole house using washable cloths & minimal products. I wrote the date on my bottle of Stardrops when I started it - 14th Aug 2015. It's still going. Lasts ages when diluted in a spray bottle.
*Make a start on long-intended deep clean of kitchen. Have done 2 areas thoroughly plus a cupboard which was doing my head in. Items decluttered to charity bag making more space on worktop.
*Finish next week's meal plans now I know what mr f wants to cook on his cooking nights.
*Start shopping list. Have done stock take of my big jars of dry ingredients so will include those that need a top-up.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Cast on a pair of baby socks using leftover yarn from an adult Christmas pair I knitted.
*Do a few surveys - my participation rate has fallen this year (see signature).so I'm trying the Toluna app to see if it increases my fill-in rate to be able to click straight through on my phone.
*Write tomorrow's job list.
*Re-fill vintage glass decanters with bubble bath. Looks waaaayyýy more classy than it is as bought some on offer.
*Find Christmss card list.
That will do. If I can get all the house cleaning jobs finished then I can prioritise baking bread & a bit of festive planning for tomorrow.
Have a good day, all.

Afternoon all, its a bit of a weird weather day here, sunny one minute, dark clouds very heavy rain the next.
Today's list
* Cuppa/catchup with my friends, used gift cards to pay for it so no cash spent
* Gym to make the most of my membership
* Kids had some of the sc rice pudding I made the other night for breakfast
* Took bread rolls out of the freezer for tomorrows lunches rather then pop into the shops for bread
* Make packed lunches for tomorrow
* Cleaned kitchen using stardrops
* Radiator shuffle
* Kids tea tonight will be Tuesdays leftover sausage pasta bake
* Our tea tonight will be leftover chicken curry, so just need to reheat and cook some rice
* Check banking/update spreadsheets - Now that the cc in closed off I can see if I hit my target for the end of the month as that is the only variable figure... fingers crossed.
I'm £25.60 short of the figure I wanted, but there is another variable just before the end of the month that I'd put the wrong date on on my spreadsheet which might just cover this
* Check off Mr T cc - always pay off in full, just used to maximise loyalty points/vouchers
* Rm survey
* Check lucky phone
* Minimal heating on, an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening, I was cold when I got home but have just put my lovely snuggly pajama's jumper over my clothes and i'm warm again now
Right better get on.
Have a good day all

YORKSHIRELASS wrote: »Hi all, just checking in. It has not been a dfw day at all here as we have been celebrating DS1s 18th birthday. £80 family meal out tonight and £25 lunch added to the £70 meal out at the weekend :eek: ... still there was a time when DS1 was so poorly that we didnt think he would see 18 so there is a lot to celebrate.
Normal service resumes tomorrow. Ready for bed now. DH has volunteered to go and collect DS from wherever he ends up, lets hope he isnt in too much of a state!
Happy birthday to your lovely DS Yorkshire!! What a huge achievement for you as well. I had no idea your son had been that I'll. Good wishes for his future good health." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Morning all
I slept well last night for a change, 3 days until due date and no sign of baby, just enjoying my final few days/weeks of freedom at the moment! My list for today:

- Post Music Magpie item
- Find a large box, order My Herme Delivery and post Ebay item

I think that's about it for the day

I have today made a jelly cake!!! I am that tight that when the jelly I made out of leftover orange bits didn't set, I tipped the slushy mess into a cake tin (with all the relevant cakey bits obviously) and wacked it in the oven
I will let you know what its like
