    Afternoon all :)
Feeling a bit bleurrgh this morning again - must be the weather! Still, onward and upward - today I have /will:

    Free HG fruit for breakfast
Walked dog x 2, lots of walking today :)
Packed an ebay item that sold overnight
Printed out postage labels using free paper from RM surveys packages
Walked to post office with my ebay parcels in the trolley
Popped into Sainsburys on the way back and bought bread, bacon, cheese, bananas and crackers. That was all that was on my list, so that is all that I bought!
All HM meals About to make pasta with bacon and tomatoes
Check for surveys A couple for onepoll, one for yougov, and I am so going to dump ipsos I say, as I continually end up doing an entire survey and then getting the 'we have enough responses, don't fit our profile etc' message
    Bit of business admin Done
Housework or tidying tasks - tupperware drawer and  larder. That last one will take a while, and take my mind off moaning about the weather and being tired :rotfl:Done, the larder was not as bad as I thought :) Nothing out of date (or not so as I would notice / bother about :rotfl:) and a couple of part packs decanted into storage containers etc.
  • Hi all

Not feeling very motivated and there is work to be done, have taken the dog for a little walk but it hasnt perked me up very much!

Washing will go over the airer when I have finished in my office. Stew in sc for tea, I have a gym class at 6pm but its the only one this week. My turn to get DS from work, really hoping his moped will be fixed today.

Off to get another jumper as its cold in here, then get on with some work until I have to do the taxi run!

    Hi all,
Bit busy today with local political stuff then an appointment at the women's health unit for a scan, but I've kept the mse faith reasonably well:
*Bottled my home made mincemeat. Smells yum & made an extra jar than I was expecting.
*All this week's laundry now dried on heated airer (I used to turn the spare room heating up to 6 to get winter laundry dry!)
*Paid a cheque into bank account.
*Acquired a pile of cash bags for paying in our sealed pot contents.
*Rubber chicken again tonight....spicy chicken rice topped with home made curry sauce.
    *Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Picked up local Co-op magazine which has several vouchers for extra dividend points.
*2 baths from 1 lot of hot water.
*Nearly finished final Christmas present socks. (Lovely yarn)
*Ipsos voucher arrived in the post for adding to my stash. Will update my sig.
*No downstairs heating on last night. We just didn't feel cold enough. Might leave it off tonight too.
*Energy supplier has agreed a refund of over £400 credit back to our bank account. Sounds good but a bit of a nuisance as I only wanted £100 back so as to keep a nice wodge for winter bills. It will probably be an administrative nightmare to try & stop this now so I will probably wait till the money arrives & pay some of it straight back in.
*And for my ongoing 'Use it up' campaign.......a half bottle of papaya-scented foot spray.....which I'm using as an air freshener! (as am not fussed about having fruity feet!)
    Ok, must crack on,
    F x

Did mine a couple of weeks ago with small GD. I had to stop her eating handfuls of it at the point the alcohol went in :rotfl:

Hi everyone late post for me. Still battling low mood :-( work overwhelming but I discovered I can dictate my case notes onto the app on my phone, so hoping this will help with efficiency

Yesterday went for a meal with db and sil and db treated me :) I gave £5 tip other than that no spends

Today we walked to sm (about 2 miles each way) rather than driving :) was nice nattering away with madam. Treated her to a happy meal. I waited till I came back and had lo Indian (doggy bag fro last night)

Did weekly shopping for £12 (still have a lot in :)

Tidied house and vacuumed d/s still have upstairs to do

Dinner is ys belly pork in a one pot dish - I'm all about efficiency today!

About to make rice pudding in sc and flapjacks with madam

Chickpeas and kidney beans currently soaking. Decided to make up whole bag and freeze in portions rather than just what I need for tomorrow
    That's me :)

Dnms, sorry to hear of your low mood. I'm feeling it too at the minute :( For me I think its the cold, grim, wet grey days though.
I made sc rice pudding last night and the house still smells of it :) Enjoy

Rubbish - just bought a single ticket rather than a return. No way to get a refund/pay the difference on these bleeding trams so that will be £4.30 + £3.30 rather than £4.50 :(

    Morning all!

ziggy, 1LL, Dawn and DNMS - I hope you're feeling a bit better
Bob and Foxgloves - all sounds a bit manic. I hope things calm down for you.

Got a nice wodge of work done yesterday and am planning on hammering it today to set the guys up for Thurs/Fri (my days off). Then I can crack on over the weekend. OH brought my dinner to work for me then we nipped out to our cafe and I had a mulled wine, he had a coffee and a nice long gab :)

Also got a nice heavy (for me!) 40kg push jerk yesterday. Had a bit of trouble re-racking the bar though and seem to have pulled my forearm a bit. It's not happy - it seems to feel stiff and achey when I twist it. Time to apply Ibuprofen gel!

    State of play yesterday:
    .
    Today's mission:
    • B/L/D from stores. Must decide on dinner. - done. Had shepherd's pie
    • Heating off (unless OH puts it on in the day but unlikely and it's mild) - done
    • Look at statement from Npower - done. Bill remaining the same :T
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Remind OH about his prescription - done
    • Send mum Christmas pressie wishes - done
    • Sort contents insurance. I forgot to renew as it was while we were away - nope. Must do this ASAP
    • Overtime - done
    • No drinkies - not quite but only 1 mulled wine.
    • Crossfit at lunchtime (def helps with stress levels!) - done
    • OH to vacuum through - done
    • Ask OH to make bread - asked but not done
    • Wash on - critical items first! - done
    • NSD - nope. Went to our fave cafe after work. Money from allocated spends.

    Today's mission
    • B/L/D from stores. Not sure what though. Need to scour the freezer. I know that there's soup but nothing to go with it. Hmmmm. - change of plan. The girls at work want to go for coffee. Will eat lunch as dinner to avoid overtime munchies!
    • Possibly a run at lunchtime - see above.
    • Wash the hoover filters
    • Overtime
    • No drinkies
    • Charge phone in work (actually forgot to take it home yesterday!!) - done
    • NSD - going out for lunch
    • Heating off unless it suddenly gets colder
    • Move dehumidifier onto landing to dry washing. Put out yet more washing. (Place like widow Twankey's again) - done
    • Research possible train ticket refund - done. Seems to be worth a try. My train was cancelled. Ambiguous info re Advanced tickets. T&Cs of advanced tickets says that you can get a refund. Refunds page says no refunds?! Seems worth trying for the cost of the stamp.

    Refunds

Under the National Rail Conditions of Travel, if your train is cancelled or delayed and you choose not to travel, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you decide not to travel for another reason, you can usually get a refund less the cost of an admin fee (maximum £10).
Some tickets, such as Advance fares, are not refundable.
To get your refund you should return your ticket to the retailer it was bought from (including online third-party retailers such as The Trainline or RedSpottedHanky), stating the date and time you intended to travel.
Might add more in the day.

    Have a good one all
