3 under 3. That's 3 children under 3. More than enough to make everything difficult, and make everyone unhinged. Op needs a break and some me-time. Massage, chocolate, sleep, but crucially time away from kids.

Sadly she strikes me as the sort of person (rightly or wrongly) who wouldnt ask anyhow, lest they god forbid give her Children treats.

What Grandparent doesnt turn up if they havnt seen the Granchildren in a while and doesnt have presents or treats.
It's the children i feel for, sounds like they live in some strange old Victorian household, and as someone else has suggested, monkey see monkey do so Karma will bite firmly on her bum.

Not that she'll be back but lighten up a bit OP. It's the prerogative of grandparents to spoil the grandkids. And then hand them back to the parents when they're off their little head on E numbers

but dont forget the OP is also the child of the Grandparents, frankly i'm with them 100% and she shouldnt be allowed to get away with such rudness.
Of course she has the right to treat the children as she pleases, however if she treats people the way she treated her parents she'll do it mainly on her own, parentless (by her own choice not her parents judging by the attitude) and friendless.
I think the word i'm looking for is perspective.

I find it hypocrite in regards to your plate and the toddlers.

However I do agree with the rest of your post, your the parent not them.
