I think tomatoes that have no taste is probably the least of the OPs worries.
True, but it might change their opinion of them.I can offer no resistance, I can offer no respite
Wake me when conflict is over,
I aim for a peaceful life,
Wake me up when the fury is ended
I like living a peaceful life0 -
3 under 3. That's 3 children under 3. More than enough to make everything difficult, and make everyone unhinged. Op needs a break and some me-time. Massage, chocolate, sleep, but crucially time away from kids.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Probably stood more chance of that happening before she was so rude to her parents.0 -
Sadly she strikes me as the sort of person (rightly or wrongly) who wouldnt ask anyhow, lest they god forbid give her Children treats.Probably stood more chance of that happening before she was so rude to her parents.
"We don't see them often but they push all the boundaries because I'm very consistent and try my best to turn a blind eye to the presents and treats."
What Grandparent doesnt turn up if they havnt seen the Granchildren in a while and doesnt have presents or treats.
It's the children i feel for, sounds like they live in some strange old Victorian household, and as someone else has suggested, monkey see monkey do so Karma will bite firmly on her bum.
Sorry OP.,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0 -
All this because of some hummus and tomatoes??
This has got to be a wind up.0 -
OP's probably the sort of person that gives out fruit on Halloween....
Not that she'll be back but lighten up a bit OP. It's the prerogative of grandparents to spoil the grandkids. And then hand them back to the parents when they're off their little head on E numbers0 -
But does she class tomatoes as a fruit?LKRDN_Morgan wrote: »OP's probably the sort of person that gives out fruit on Halloween....0 -

Indeed, orangesandapples wrote: »There could be many reasons why the OP did not want her children to have more than one slice of cake, or any at all. They are her children after all. Grandparents seem to indulge their children with sweets and junk in a way they would never do so with their own child, if their mother didn't want them to eat cake then they should have respected this.
but dont forget the OP is also the child of the Grandparents, frankly i'm with them 100% and she shouldnt be allowed to get away with such rudness.
Of course she has the right to treat the children as she pleases, however if she treats people the way she treated her parents she'll do it mainly on her own, parentless (by her own choice not her parents judging by the attitude) and friendless.
I think the word i'm looking for is perspective.,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0 -
I find it hypocrite in regards to your plate and the toddlers.
However I do agree with the rest of your post, your the parent not them.0
