Morning,
Bobarella, like you, I'm also aiming for 5 NSD's.
Got a big shop in yesterday, planned all my meals and snacks so should manage comfortably.0 -
Please can I join in?
Was going to at the beginning of November but had a family wedding and lots going on at the weekend including meals out.
That's all over now so it's time to get serious.
Going to eat out of the freezer as much as possible.
De clutter so I can have the tidy home I want.
Aiming for 4 SFD this week.
Only fly in the ointment is that I'm having a new kitchen fitted at the moment and most of the kitchen is in the living room!!!!!!

Happy NOvember week2!
Welcome ilovetea, the more the merrier. You're number 44.
Today should be an NSD here too. HM lunch and a swim. Did a top up shop in LIDL yesterday and will update my numbers in a minute. Just left the shop and decided to go back in and get a duck and a goose for christmas. I put it in my grocery spends just now but will get that back from our lottery syndicate money which will fund christmas this year. To get them in the freezer I had to take out to ancient bags of rhubarb and stewed them for deserts at work.
Saturday was a write off but yesterday was quite productive. DH even painted the shed.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Hi all.
Welshkitty - sorry to hear that news. Very sad.
Thrifty - stay strong with the smoking.
Today should be a NSD. I am working part of the day, dog walking, baking bread rolls and cleaning. I will do some exercise later (either cycling, a run or a dvd). I have chicken thighs in the fridge covered with harissa paste, I will add peppers, cook and serve with rice for tea.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

This week I am going military again. I am away with work 2 days and DH is away 4. DH will be spending as has 2 evening events but as I have no control over that I am not including the days he spends when away in my NSDs. I am then away again Sunday for a week
My new way of eating starts today and I have done a work out this morning. DH says that the fridge looks too healthy!:rotfl:

Morning all, NSD here today. I need to use some veg that is getting close to being on the turn so thinking some sort of lentil veg stew for lunch today. Also have some cooking apples from a friends garden that need making into something - cake?
Just had a request for a Christmas dinner with friends in December, but I already have a few things in the diary so think I might start planning my budget for next month later today. Before I say yes to everything and then find myself in barney rubble!
Hope you all have a good day!£1000/£1000 Emergency Fund

Morning all, back after a manic weekend. Friday night meal out with friends was lovely and budgeted so all good. Saturday was a NSD but Sunday wasn't, today will be
Kids both went to a roller skating birthday party on Saturday for Dd's best friend and then out for tea - we now have two sombreros in the house! Ds is best friends with brother of Dd best friend so he got to go too iykwim. Dh carried on refitting our bathroom, I batch cooked pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie, chicken curry and beef casserole, cleaned lots and dug out the kids bedrooms.
Yesterday we had a cafe church in the afternoon so we grabbed a quick lunch (again budgeted) at the pub next door and then worked until about 6.30. Fab day but busyDs went to another birthday party in the middle of it all and Dh has developed Manflu and is currently working from home as he is really quite rough.
I've had a meeting at school and am now working - we've got parents evening tonight for both squiglets so hopefully no surprises.
Aiming for military again this week - last week I only managed civilian so time to be ruthless!

Afternoon all
Today should be SFD - I do need to post a fleabay parcel, but I've had the money for that plus I will use some of my RM Survey free stamps anyway
It's a leftovers kind of day here - I had lo stewed apple for breakfast and my lunch was tiny lo amounts of soup, risotto and plain (no sauce) spaghetti - around 3tbsp max of each - but that means 4 tubs are now of the fridge!:j I've also taken the lo veg from yesterday (cauli cheese, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, carrots and peas) and mixed together for bubble n squeak tonight - will serve with lo roast chicken and fried mushrooms
Have some items to list on fleabay which I'll try and do later as I have an offer for reduced fvfThis afternoon sees me reorganising and re-inventorying the freezer, finishing cleaning the kitchen and maybe starting the ironing if I have time - I know how to live! (even the washing machine repair man here this morning thought my day sounded sad! :rotfl:)

I've received a letter from the Halifax today to say that they are reducing the £5 they give you monthly on your current account to £3 - I am not happy about that.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
