Aw cute tree. I think the older trees have more character.
The story about your neighbour and her music made me laugh. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks for all your lovely comments guys. ❤️ Nice to see you back as well redo.Yesterday was a bit of a nothing day. Work (of course) - in the evening I watched the Coronation Street 60 Years documentary - funny to think I remember the early black and white episodes - Ena, Minnie and Martha putting the world to rights in the snug at The Rovers! It was quite long so I was ready for bed when it finished.Today was a day off from work as I went up to London to have my hair cut and coloured. I had a result on the fare as on checking my account with the rail company I have just over £100 worth of loyalty points from buying annual season tickets. So I was able to use £10 there for my Senior Rover return ticket. Plus there's another nine tickets in points for future trips!😃
After I had finished at the hairdressers I had a walk up to the big M&S - there didn't seem a lot in there to be honest - quite a lot of clothes sections appeared to have been stripped out for social distancing. The food hall was busy though so I picked up two boxes of Belgian chocs for DSis and her OH for Christmas. I popped into Boots afterwards and bought an ITunes voucher for her OH (£3 discount). After that I was quite happy to catch my train. Didn't feel at all like looking round any further shops - not that I needed anything else but usually I like to mooch. Seem to have lost my mooching mojo. 🤔
All in all for a lunchtime there wasn't many people around in the City. ☹️Other spends were coffee and sandwich from Pret - I noticed that the Veggie Pret I started to use has closed!☹️ Also a taxi back from the station when I got home. When I got in I made a coffee and started to read my book and then fell asleep!😴. Been catching up this evening with The Valhalla Murders.Wrapping this afternoon was D's two cookery books. 🎁Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Your day does sound lovely. I know exactly what you mean about the missing mooching mojo.....I’m just the same. I am looking forward to a trip with relative to big shopping mall near me next Monday....if it is busy we will come home without looking too far. I need to go as I have only bought 2 presents 🥺
Well done on the rail tickets 👍January spends - £587.584 -
Thanks beanie and milann. 👍
I've nearly finished the presents milann. I must admit that I've not bought as many this year and most I've purchased online due to lockdown. I have a couple of bits to buy for DSis and DD's OH - more in the stocking filler line. I'm going to hit my local high street at the weekend for ideas/support some local businesses. Also golf balls for boss and plant for a friend though these will have to be purchased and sent to them via online as I won't be seeing them till next year. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I normally enjoy a mooch around the shops but it’s not exactly a pleasant experience at the moment. At least you could go for a coffee, not allowed that where I live which is absolutely ridiculous.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I know SA - it's daft - hopefully we'll all be out of this Tier malarkey soon. ☹️Not much happened today - busy with work after a day off and I only popped out lunchtime for some Oatly.I did have a little hamper delivered - it was from the firm. As we are not having a proper Xmas do this year we all had the option of different little hampers. I went for the vegan option - I received a bottle of sparkling wine, a can of gin and grapefruit, ginger beer and various snacks - all look very nice!😋
On the MSE front I received my annual cashback from my Amex card - £72 - not to be sneezed at!😀
I spoke to DSis today - her and her OH are still feeling rough, though a bit better than before. She has heard that little nephew's school has decided to close fully for now along with the other primary school in the area. She also has heard a rumour that our area will be moving up a tier when Boris makes his next announcement. I sincerely hope not!😫Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Nice to get the hamper. This time of year is when I miss working in the private sector, public sector workers get nothing, used to it now though. Cash back from the card is brilliant 👍 I have a sneaky feeling we’ll all be back in lockdown after Christmas but fingers crossed we won’t.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
