Well a what a horrid dark wet cold day! It did nothing but teem with rain all day!☔️☔️☔️I got quite wet lunchtime. I decided to go to the Post Office and got my big family cards weighed, paid for and posted. While I was there I bought my Christmas stamps for NEXT year before they go up. There's nothing like being prepared!😀
Quite amusing in work today - we had a MS Teams meeting and two people had their pets with them - a lovely cavapoo puppy and a gorgeous little tabby cat that (like most cats) decided it wanted to sit on its owner's keyboard!😺
Christmas parcels wrapped today - cash for DSIs's OH's grandnephew, Prosecco and shortbread for the OH's SIL who I will see on Christmas Day, and a bottle of nice Italian red for my nice Italian hairdresser who I will see next week for my appointment. Good ol' bottle bags!😀. I usually have a glass of Bailey's and the Christmas playlist on when I wrap. I couldn't get the Vegan Baileys either at Ocado or Waitrose so ordered the M&S vegan Chocolate and Coconut liqueur from Ocado. It was really nice. 🥃
Apart from my post office spends I sent £25 to DSis who's going to get my Christmas wreath for mum and dad's grave as I'm going to find it difficult to get the to cemetery this year. She went today and sent me pictures of the lovely seasonal flowers in a basket she put on there. 😞
My friend and I were hoping to meet for out first coffees since we came out of lockdown this week. As we'll have to sit outside the cafe it's looking dependent on the weather. Hope the rain lets up. ✌️Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Bottle bags are a great wrapping hack 👍 Interesting that your M&S allowed you to use your £15 beauty voucher on a diffuser with 20% off when my M&S wouldn’t let me use mine on a sleep spray as it was technically homeware or perfume as it had 30% off. Did you redeem online?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Yes I redeemed online. I was scrolling through the Beauty section as I didn't want to waste the £15 and also I wanted to take advantage of the special 20% off over the Black Friday weekend. I was surprised that the Neom products were included in the Beauty section as they aren't technically things you'd use on your body! Perhaps you could try again online? Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks guys!😀
Friday all done! Yippee - no work now till Monday!🥳. No snow here but heavy rain all last night and most of today. ☔️☔️☔️ Cold too!🥶
I had a nice surprise today - one of our clients has sent me a Christmas card with a £25 Waitrose/JohnLewis voucher. She had sent it to the office and the post room forwarded it to me. She is a lovely lady - 91 years old but bright as a button.I was due to meet my friend for a coffee lunchtime but the weather wasn't great so we've put it off till tomorrow. She's going to get my Christmas deccies out of her store room for me as well.
DSis messaged me today - she said her and her OH felt a bit rough this morning so they have been for a COVID test seeing that little nephew had been sent home from school as two of his teachers have tested positive. She thinks the symptoms are more cold based but it's best to make sure. So off they went to the local testing centre in a large car park and had the cotton buds stuffed up their noses and down their throats! She said they couldn't stop gagging!Christmas wrapping today - just one present done - black Nike sweatshirt for DSis that she liked. 🎁Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
