NTL: I've just saved £120 per yr with 1 phonecall

just found this thread as ive been thinking of attempting to do better than what i have the now, been with ntl for over 4 years now and have the following:

Sky sports collection £13.50 (going up to £15.50 in nov)
Family pack £8.50 (only have this as my gran likes this for uk gold :-) )
Setanta sports £15.99
2MB Broadband £24.99
Digital base pack & telephone £21.50 (have never used phone as we still use the bt line)

so total monthly bill is £84.48 , ive read all about them offering £10 off for 12 months but does anyone think i can do any better?

i feel ive been quite stupid over this as never really given it much thought about possibly getting these services cheaper elsewhere. oh well time to change that!!

thought i would have had someone reply!!

anyway, i phoned them today and got £16 a month discount for the next 12 months and also got my broadband down to £10 a month and thats for the 2mb a month

so theyve saved me £312 for the 12 months of the offer :beer:

What did you say to them to get the £16.00 off ? (I have all 3 services and got the £10.00 off Broadband couple of months ago !)
