Haven't been able to post for a while but up to 12 NSDs, don't think I'll quite make the target.
Generally haven't done well on this month's challenge, haven't bought any Christmas presents due to lack of funds but have got a list of ideasJust haven't really had much time due to starting new job, however, my new rota has made it much easier to go to the gym so have done well on that aspect.

Morning
Just a quick hello. September has been a bit of a write off for debt slaying. It's very hard with no fixed income sometimes. Since I stopped my other business in August and started doing this one I've had 2 very lean months. Only spending has been must do's like food shopping.
Anyway things are going the right way so I still hold out hope of being debt free at some point soon!
Looking forward to October Mothernerd" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

So the month for damaged cars then. We just got a curtesy car because ours is away to get fixed. Although it was OH who bumbed somebody. Hope yours all get fixed quickly/cheaply. Just hate it when they just run off though and not even have the decency to leave a number.
Today will be a spend day. In desperate need for milk and cat litter. Might be able to scrap enough together for two dinners from freezers/cupboards. Might make an Asd@ pick up order up again for Friday as it will save time and money (not having to drag the kids and OH through shop).
Till later
P.S. looking fwd to your October tooDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

A quick google has shown me a key wiggling technique that might work, if not, I need to dig into the electronics.
NSD no 15 today. Shattered from my night shifts so staying firmly in bed until my shift later (last late for a week thankfully)
Last nights shift was usefully spent googling for xmas ideas, 2/15 people done.

Hi all.
Monday was payday so all next months budgets have been sorted. I have dropped money into our various pots (car, christmas, EF etc) and saved £390 too. I bought DS some winter boots on ebay for £10, leather and barely worn as is the case with most kids things. I bought some Clarks suede boots for me in the CS for £10, quite pricey for a CS purchase for me but they are lovely and again hardly worn (why don't people get their moneys worth from things?).
I have read two books so far this month, the first was Dean Koontz 'The Husband' and the second was Kate Riordan 'The Shadow Hour'. The second was a bit of a departure from my usual subject matter but is was very Rebecca-esque and I totally love Daphne Du Maurier books, the House on the Strand being my favourite.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Always wondered that too. Unless it was an unwanted gift, double purchase/gift etc. Most things (clothes, items) that leave our house go to the skip/bin as they are totally worn out or broken. I bought last seasons winter boots for DD on eb@y ( Clarks for a fiver max) and will do the same again this year. Why pay £30+ for them if I can get them near new way cheaper. Might sell her old ones on againDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Whoops, I need to retract NSD 15. Back down to 14.
I added something to my e£ay watch list for later, as I didn't want to break the NSD, then mindlessly rang to book and pay the carpet fitting! (£44.00, we still need to pay the carpet fitters £35 cash on the day, but BF will be paying that half)
Bought the eb@y thingy as well after that as it was only another £2.95 on top. And it is for a crafty xmas present, going to make a scrabble tile name crossing picture for my game loving friend with her familys names.
That will teach me to get complacent!

Fmess & Thrifty welcome to the car damage club, Hugs and tea. Won't be getting mine fixed no cash and its like me getting on a bit, plus some other idiot will dent it no doubt.
WelshKitty - Thanks bunny seemed better last night so will just monitor him. Good news about your grant and bad news re dh course.
Bob nice to see you, it is frustrating when you want to get debt free and can't get anything paid off.
Today stayed in at lunchtime as that is the time I wander around shops and spend so a SFD today as only a walk planned after work with a friend. No idea how many I have had this month - very few I reckon judging by my increase in debt.:o
Avoided light switch as it was a 2 way one, begged old bf to do it when he is passing no rush, have one switch that works just the wrong end of the room.:(
Also looking forward to October, my birthday month:cool: and a few gigs planned plus amazing debt busting and house clearing will take place:DLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220
