Nearly there Fmess.
I've got a bit of a sore throat too and I rarely get colds so there must be a bug doing the rounds.

Woke up this morning to an u familiar chirping sound and was worried the cat had brought a bird home. Turns out its one of the smoke alarms! I think it must be running out of battery? Not feeling great but will get dressed and go get a new battery and a few aids for my cold, and tissues, and then will spend the day on the sofa. Put the washing in but found even that was exhausting.
Thank you for the congratulationsI need to tighten the belt further if I'm to make it debt free for the new year. I've got a spendy few months coming up, including this one which is a five week month due to the early payday this weekend.

Morning all
Not checked in all week! Totally lost track of NSD but have managed to have a couple. Mainly because my run of eating out has ended and I have started healthy eating again so have not bought junk food!
Having a very chilled weekend as not made any plans. Slept from 10pm until 7.30 so obv needed my sleep!
Yest had day off and new washing machine was delivered. I moved both the old one and the new one as well as disconnecting and connecting myself so I was pretty knackered. Had no idea they were so heavy! New one has a much larger drum so I was able to ram a double 13.5 tog duvet in it which is now out on the line. Have never washed one before, normally just buy new ones as it's just as cheap! Old wm sold for £40 which was good
Also had plumber round to quote for new kitchen and boiler. He brought my howdens quote for the kitchen which was not too bad. Just waiting for him to get back from a few days away to give me the full quote
I forgot to keep my spending diary which is annoying but know I spent nearly half my entertainment budget the first weekend I got paid which is not good! I have done my first payday food shop and it was £45 but that included 3 lots of meat as I'm doing lots of batch cooking this weekend. Should be much cheaper next week. Have kept my receipt as determined to add up all food spends to get an accurate picture. Today I am doing beef and apricot stew in the SC and a chicken satay stir fry from eat well for less
Today I am off to the gym and have a massage booked :A will use WM money. Really need it after moving washing machines and the powerhoop class I tried on Thursday night. It was soooo much fun but I really hurt and have loads of bruises!

Hi everyone
I have dgd staying with me for the weekend, but as her mum (my dd) is very frugal she is used to hm meals.
So we are off to a huge garden centre that has stuff for me to drool over and lots of things for dd to do as well. No money will change hands we are having a picnic on the way in the local park and I will take a flask and juice for dd. And then dvd and popcorn tonight, you can tell I'm determined to rack up a few sfd!!
So I'm off now

Quick catch up:
Spending - very few SFDs managed. Has been a spendy month. We are officially skint in regards to money in our c/acs now, so am hoping for very minimal spends the rest of the week until pay day!
Eating - freezer eating going well - definite space can be seen in there now! Still have waaaay too much frozen fruit in there - and now have 4 carrier bags of Bramley apples to process and freeze!!
Presents - have ordered a few more bits online this week for XmasWill start to attack more next month
Time - have started another book. Sat down last night and just watched a tv programme - can't remember when I last did that - normally I do ironing whenever I watch tv but last night I couldn't be bothered to and just wanted to sit!
That's about it from me for now

Morning all!
Yesterday was a spendy day as I spent £25 on my massage, £25 on a cheap did player and scart lead, £8 on a saw and dishwasher tablets and 85p on descaler!
Today will also be a spend day as I need to go to asda and collect my home order and whilst there I need bread, coconut milk and honey.
Going to the gym this morning and on the way home there is a craft market. Will have a little look but can't see me buying anything unless it's a present.
Today I am making veggie sausage casserole using the left over sausages I bought for my veggie friend when I had a BBQ. These are the last thing lurking in the freezer as everything else is stuff I always use- mainly batch cooked portions of meals and frozen veg I use in batch cooking. I will actually be increasing my freezer stocks over the next few weeks as I will not have a kitchen for 3 weeks in November so need stuff to microwave each night
I am running my cupboards down though so I have to remove less. Yesterday I used a jar of rendang curry paste that was 18 months out of date  tasted and smelt fine so I used it. Can't even remember buying it! I've also cooked up all my left over black eyed beans and will use some today and Freeze the rest. They take so long to prepare I always forget and it's too late to use them! I have a cupboard list now and will try and plan around the random ingredients (2 tins of prunes Anyone?! :rotfl:). I don't have any staples like tomatoes as buy as I use.
Have a lovely day turtles:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Hi everyone
Yesterday went according to plan and today dgd and I are having a lazy morning I want to finish another book and she has a bit of hw to do then wants to watch another dvd.
This afternoon we are going down to the lottie and she can help me weed one part as I want to move the poly tunnel when the stuff in there has finally finished (son in law will help me with that -he just doesn't know it yet lol) and then I will take her home for tea time and then collapse in front of the tv for the night!!!!
Anyway that's the plan so it should be another sfd. Tomorrow first thing I'm having my eyes tested so that will be a spendy day so I will get some more milk. When sorting my cupboards before I went on holiday I came across bread flour and yeast so I'm going to ask oldest dd if I can borrow her bm to use it up, mine broke quite a time ago and I'm not very good at making it by hand
Anyway off to make another cup of coffee
