Hello All, I have had a busy few days so am behind with your news, I hope you are all happy and healthy.

Spends - Recent spends included £70 on a new phone (no storage so couldn't even take a photo!), too much on food and drink, £45 on rugby subs for DS, £12 on u/pants for DS and 80p on a drink

Eats - I have been good and done a meal plan for this week and next. Saturday I made a double batch of curry which we had then and with JPs last night after the gym. Sunday I made a casserole in the SC which DH had for lunch yesterday too. I have a £10 Mr S voucher for on-line so have used that for a shop to start off next month.

Presents - £2 spent on a RTC at Mr T pot to make friends pot of gold and used some of my lunch allowance to buy some sweets to fill it.

Time - I have been doing a lot of reading and plotting and planning our financial goals for 2017

Empty - I have made a start on the dresser drawers! I also chucked half a bag of paperwork from a box that moved with us from the old house as no longer needed

Meet - Nothing since met up with mum and went to cinema with friend

Bed - Some progress made sorting out the office/bedroom and I intend to have this done this weekend. I have washed all the duvets but DH is really stressed at the moment with work which is causing night sweats so they may need to be washed again :(

Exercise - 2 PT sessions this week, 1 last night. Paid for the next 6 weeks and got weighed/measured again. Weigh more but less body fat. Not good. I have committed to doing a dog walk and/or trail run every day I am not at the PT this week. Unfortunately, DS's Karate has been cancelled for the next 3 weeks or I could have gone to the gym while he was in his class

Reading - have read the first one of my library books this week. I have read a total of 4 and a bit books this month :)
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

  • Yesterday was NSD 13, and today makes 14!! So I have reached my target :D
I know I have to get some chicken from the butchers still on Thursday (if they have any in stock yet) but wed and fri are looking clear so hopefully I can push it to 16 days.

I went for my first run since 22nd aug yesterday, just a couple of laps around the park, but it was raining! Seriously need to get some miles under my feet as I'm just 12 days away from a 10k and 19 days away from a half marathon

Welshkitty must be the time of year for car damage, parked mine in Supermarket car park Sunday and came out to an empty space next to mine, nice dent on my wheel arch and paint all scratched. GRR ok its an old car but its all mine. Loads of room that side of my car which made it more annoying.

Spent today liked yogurts that were on offer in Morrisons - well gs does and its better than munching on biscuits and sweets. Was naughty and gave into packet of large chocolate buttons whoops what diet am I on?

No need to cook tea - feel smug leftover liver casserole and veggies.

May have to take my 8 yr old bunny to the vets, its tummy doesn't seem to be any better. See how he is when I get home as he will kick off big time.

  • Hi everyone

Another nsd today, but not yesterday, ordered and paid for new glasses, bought some material for a top and skirt and a load of seeds from wilcas as they were selling them off and all had long dates on them. So that's most of my seeds bought for next year.
That's about it, I've done my babysitting for today, posted a couple of letters and dinner tonight is leftovers from yesterday. Oh and I've made some Greek yogurt a first for me, and accordingly to me winter shop list I shouldn't need too much, I'm sure it's all multiplying in the cupboards and freezer!!! So I will spend the residue money on household stuff like loo rolls and washing stuff.

Was pricing up christmas and presents alone will cost about £400  not including some postage. But including loads of home made stuff like fleece hats for the kids, CS cup candle, HM bath sugar scrubs, HM lemoncello.

There are at least 6 kids plus our own 2. And 10 adults/ couples. Sometime it seems making your own stuff isn't actually that cheap. The kids average a tenner (either HM fleece hat or spirograph on offer in Amaz0n). We said we'd buy each other nothing but invest in a cheapish set of crockery as we don't have anything matching (set of 8, no more than £70 in total), hopefully using Tesco vouchers.

Hopefully will get a decent amount of Amaz0n vouchers before then although it won't be more than 30 quid I guess.

At least christmas dinner is free (lotto pot)

Better step away from ebay now. Work being slow is not good. Bidding on a new purse, vintage watch, proper leather tote bag and trainers (total under £25 incl postage for all). But still :o:o:o. Will definitely not increase any bids.

  • Hi turtles!

Calling it's soo annoying isn't it?! I'm just glad I saw her do it otherwise I have no doubt she would have driven off. Hope bunny is ok.

NSD 14 today and have made £20 selling some old books.

Have formally accepted the payment offer from the uni and provided bank details so hopefully should have that in my account soon.
  • Been MIA for a few days - I have had a hectic time.

Took DS to Uni on Sunday so Saturday was busy with buying the last bits and pieces and having a family meal and Sunday was the drive there and back. Then on his first day he lost his wallet - all sorted now as handed in complete with cash still in it!!

So since I came on here on Thurs 22nd I am reporting the following:
    Thurs 22nd - NSD
    Fri 23rd - Spend
    Sat 24th - Spend
    Sun 25th - Spend
    Mon 26th - NSD
    Tues 27th - Spend

I think I am up to 14 now. Hoping to get a few more in this week.

Also finally cleaned out my spice drawer and even unscrewed the handle to wash that and the drawer front.

Will aim to do a drawer or cupboard every week.
