Hi all.
Did a grocery shop yesterday but all within budget, no other spends though. Cycled yesterday and today straight after the school run.
Having to take the dog to the vet tonight, he got bitten by a dog and it has become infected, I hardly dare imagine what they will charge - I really don't like how it is with vets now, they charge an insane amount of money and only care whether you are insured.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi guys, I joined in January, then life punched me in the face and I dropped off the site.
I'd like to re-join if that's okay?
Spends – aim for at least 14 NSD’s. So far 2/14
Eating – menu plan for September. We are trying to eat clean at the moment, so meals mainly consist of chicken with salad or veg. Boring but no need for planning.
Presents – make your Christmas lists. I tend to pick up bits as I spot them during the year. So I have a few presents put by already. Still need some ideas for a few people, luckily my list is small, immediate family and close friends only.
Time – make time for yourself this month. Sadly our beautiful pooch passed away last week. All this week I've been sat watching films as I've not felt like interacting with the world much. I've had my share of me time.
Empty – pick a drawer or cupboard to empty and sort through. I try to keep my house as uncluttered as possible, but the cupboard under the stairs could do with a tidy up.
Meet – meet up with a friend/family member who you have not seen for ages but keep meaning to. Ring/email/text them now and arrange something for this month. I rarely see my mums side of the family, but it just so happens I've been invited out of the blue to a wedding, so will be catching up with everyone.
Bed– either start bedding down the garden for winter or you will start making the bedroom suitable for the cooler weather.
In the garden. We have a small concreted yard with a few plant pots which is BF's domain, hes the green fingered one so I'll leave it to him.
In the bedroom, do you need to put the winter duvet on? Do any duvets need washing? Can you have a clear out – clean under the bed, wash down the bedside tables? We will probably keep the summer duvet on until the depths of winter. Currently we have the window open and the fan going all night.
Exercise – do as much exercise as possible, aim for every 2 days as a minimum. Can you make the most of these evenings before it gets dark at 5pm? We've had a week off from exercise, but getting back to it this week.
Reading – Everyone will read a book during this month and report back with comments I've just finished book five of 'Song of Ice and Fire' and I'm ready for the next book. No idea what to read next. Any recommendationsDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

My vets were always fantastic. My pooch used to love going as she knew she would get fed treats at the reception desk.

I'm doing okay, I tend to quash all my emotions down inside me so after a couple of days crying I've managed it to teary eyes.
I got her at 7 weeks old, she was 11 when she passed. She went peacefully in her sleep without any illness so I'm thankful for that.
My BF has taken it harder than me, he's only known her for a year, but he's a big softy.

What breed was she? Mine was a border collie she was 13. Just think had 11 fun filled years of her. I found hardest going for a walk without her. Borrowed friends dogs but its not the same. Hugs
She was a doberman.
Every Thursday my best friend comes round, first thing we do is take Shadow around the park. Yesterday we went for a walk around the park without her. It felt weird picking up my keys but leaving the lead and poop bags.
