It is at Fosse Park, a big busy retail hellhole, surrounded by M1 traffic.   But not just any carpark, its near an M&S, so that must make it classier 😆 🤣.
Mind you, I got my last covid jab on Lidl Car Park in the back of a transit van by a big tattooed glaswegian chap. That was at least enjoyable and I got called 'Hen' which nearly killed DH with laughter.  🐔 🐓 
My b00b squish letter feels the need to tell me that this time I will only be groped by a woman. Didn't even offer a choice!  Rude! Oh well new experiences,  and all that.

Two events of interest in the city this week though, seed and plant swap on Wednesday, and a wool outlet sale on Saturday. If only it didn't involve navigating through five lanes of random traffic.

I have a technicolour kneecap.  Fell down the kerb after leaving the ever-so- classy- supermarket-portacabin - the b00bsquash was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be, so came out relieved - and went bottom over boob via 2 kneecaps and an elbow onto the car park.

Drove home, spent the rest of the weekend with elevated leg - it is a lot better now, it has gone down from a goose-egg to merely swollen but I say bad words when I kneel on it - note to self, stop kneeling on it. 

Bad-news surprise at the start of the week, one of my Octogenarian volunteer-playmates has been diagnosed with something unpleasant,  advanced stage, palliative care only, it's going to be quick.  

Good- news surprise - DS3 had a zoom interview this morning for his college placement, he will find out by the end of today if he will be in (paid) employment all summer.  He is an anxious mess. It is very cute. 

DH is off camping with his mates this weekend to an event, so he has taken over 1/3rd of the freezer and is bouncing round the place being excited. It makes a change, as   'The Pre-Change Consultation' meetings are going on this week.  There will undoubtedly be a strike. So if he wants to lie in a field with a pink cocktail, it will probably do him good.  It does not stop him from being annoying though.  He keeps muttering about needing to buy limes.... the weirdo.  Probably just distracting himself from the skip-fire at work.  

So all in all, stress on all sides!
