Lol - both at the man with a cleaver - sounds like the sort of thing I might do.
Also Lol at the Mission Impossible film - if it was the same one as I watched last night then it was very silly indeedI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Today was a good day. Got up, shake for breakfast, opened up my makeshift greenhouse, put out a laundry load of towels, soaked some chickpeas, and took a whole bag for life full of plant pots to a seed/plant/pot swap and that cleared out half a square meter of mess from the yard.Came home with 2 tomatoes (no labels), a sad looking cucumber plant (no label), and a snakey houseplant thing that might be a zebra cactus but it is more spotty than stripey, so whadda-I-know? It looks like snakes and DS4 is excited by it. Job Done. Will get him to google image it and see what it says. Also forced myself to drive through town, which is always terrifying due to 5 lanes of people who are frankly, quite insane.Came home, had lunch, went to 'Herr Ron' for cheap bao buns, and ended up on the sofa with the Towering Inferno On a Boat film - aka The Poseidon Adventure. It is a Bank Holiday!Made a tray of peanut butter flapjacks for them. Made a puff pastry mixed fruit pie for them as well. Hopefully that will stop them drinking all the milk! I only have 1ltr soya milk, 1 ltr oat milk, 1 ltr almond milk and about 200ml of coconut milk left. If I get up and there is no milk for my coffee in the morning there is going to be trouble. So I will have to go food shopping tomorrow due to a dire shortage of milk. Sorry, abandoned you for a whole week! This morning I cooked my chickpeas that I soaked overnight, and now they are half hummus and half in the fridge for a spicy chickpea curry during the week. The Scooby-Doo Mystery of disappearing food continues. Weird Invisible Uncle Bob strikes again (sigh!)Last week I lost and gained the same lb over and over again. I am continuing and will not give up.Yesterday was payday, but it does not make a blind bit of difference because it is the weekend. Money will come in and the bills go out tomorrow instead. 24 hour economy my left butt0ck.3 loads of laundry washed, 2 on the line, showers forecast so am keeping a weather-eye out.Gazpacho soup for lunch for me, hummus and salad and bread rolls for them, leftover last portion of lasagne claimed by DH and it disappeared in 30 seconds. His marking has come in and he is just about ready to strangle someone - AI has been used, and it cannot do what he has asked of his students. Academic misconduct officer is going to be a very busy bunny. He warned them not to do it. They did it anyway.Made a rocky road with 50p worth of biscuits, 95% off ys Easter egg chocolate, store cupboard stem ginger, S&M voucher marshmallows and a 1/4 pack of freeze dried raspberries that I was given. It is exceptionally lush, and cut into tiny slices. It should last all week, unless Invisible Uncle Bob gets involved. Either way, it makes me feel less worthless as a mother if I have homemade stuff in the house for them.I did a freezer inventory this morning and I have a very small shopping list for next week.Descaled the coffee machine and the kettle, and then the loo was descaled with the used descaler fluid.I have had an idea about the front garden - I live in a Victorian Terrace - so my front garden is about 5 feet long and 20 feet wide and has a privet hedge on the road boundary - totally typical. The iron railings have disappeared over time, but I think the last of the leftover wood in the back yard could be used as a three tier planter boundary along the foot high wall between us and the neighbours. I need a little bit of access, cos that is where the meter box is.That is my project for next week.I have written my postcard competition entries and they will be sent tomorrow. One of my old men is still not well. His wife is terrified. He is becoming a shadow of himself. Poor lamb.Still not used that s0dding N3xt voucher. DS3 wants 2 hoodies but won't commit to telling me which ones he wants. This month, for the first time in AGES, I have enough left over in May's budget to pay all the outgoing bills at the start of June. Even though I 'only' won £75 on the PBs last month. I have 3 regular savers - ranging from 6.75% down to 5% and was worried I might be overextending myself, as it now totals £700 a month straight to savings. It is actually going really well! I will be glad I did it when they all mature in Dec and Jan and Feb.This week I have an exciting check up at the Drs, and an invitation to have my b00bs felt by a stranger on Asda Car Park. As a reward I will go to the Riverside Festival and have lots of fun.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I think you should set your standards a little higher than Asda, isn't there someone in a Sainsbury's car park that would give them a squeeze for you?
Students using AI doesn't surprise me in the slightest, I've recently seen some discussions about returning to the olden days of filling up a large room with students and getting them to write with pen and paper for 3 hours. It's a shame as I'm not certain how good it is at proving someone has learned, it's only good for proving you have a good memory and can write fast. But with increasing numbers of students preferring to use AI instead of actually engaging with the material there aren't too many other options."You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

What would you put in the planter in the front garden? (Anything gardening always sucks me in! 😉😂)
I think having exams old stylee is probably the only way to genuinely assess a student’s thinking abilities. It’s what I had to do … (not well, 2:2ish 😉) but I did it 🤷♀️
Have you asked who Uncle Bob is? Set some mouse traps in the cake tins! 😉😂
