I do not have one single bean. Nothing has grown, not a green one, a yellow one, nor a purple one. Very unimpressed. Will plant some more in loo rolls and see if anything happens. Just going to Potter and improve my living space this bank holiday weekend and enjoy the weather while it lasts.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

DH is on his way to Canada. Just left Iceland for another nearly 8 hours of flying. The top two floors of the house are clean and tidy. The bathrooms were scrubbed too.Laundry has been laundered and clean bedding has been distributed for the adults to put on their own beds.I am now no longer in the OBESE category and am merely overweight. 12.11, in case anyone was interested.Made another Wibble Jelly, it is working so I will keep on eating it. Peach and Rhubarb compote in the fridge to have with yoghurt - it is really nice. Might push the boat out and have a carrot later. Who knows! Wild and Crazy thing that I am.Bought 2 tickets for a Cure Tribute band with a Siouxsie support act. Went via the SFF website, so instead of £25 a ticket (£21.50 + booking fee), it was £5. Well worth it if you live near a venue that they clear tickets from. Then remembered it was on Eurovision night...Doors are 7. Will be home to see the last votes come in. It is a 10 minute walk from my house. I will watch the 2 semi finals so will be able to sing all the songs anyway!Tomorrow I will clean the ground floor, go volunteering, come home, and do more stuff because I am usually much more productive while DH is away.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

well done on the weight loss!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I just need to keep on keeping on. I am trying to be a bit more aware, as avoiding carbs is the fastest way for me to drop weight. I have realised I do not even like doughnuts. I got some for the boys last week, and there was one left over. I had one bite and thought, nah! not for me. I would have eaten the whole packet last month just because it was there. So I was quite pleased with myself. I have had one slice of squashy white bread in 3 weeks and I did not enjoy it...at all. Okay .... bit weird but I am going with it. The weight needs to come off.Made a fab salad with a peanut soy dressing. It was good but needs tweaking - something was missing.Tried to read 3 books last night. Worst writing ever. Tried really hard, read the first 2 chapters of each, simply did not care, so they are in a box by the front door for recycling. Bye bye.Cashed out my £25 free Tesc0 voucher from the postal survey. I know I am getting another £15 from my cl0bcard points soon. £40 will either fill all the cupboards, or will fill the freezer. The cupboards are already full. The freezer is rammed too. so will wait until we need a big shop. £40 is still a big shop to me.The car is full of fuel - I waited until the light came on - and it was less than £50 this time. Hooray!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I think it needs thinly sliced red chilli 🌶 , but it might be just me. I ended up throwing some raw shredded broad beans in with carrot, white cabbage, chard, cuke, lettuce, tomato, red peppers and 1/4 of an 🥑 and a matchbox sized piece of smoked tofu (cubed). I had it for lunch and dinner. I am happy. So much raw stuff, and it would make a fantastic pack-up lunch meal.
I may have been abducted by aliens 👽. I do not sound like me at all.
Still at 'not obese' but am hoping for another drop imminently.
DH will be back tomorrow night, if all goes to plan.
Sorted out another load of wood to make another free planter tomorrow .

Agree on the chilli @f0xh0les. I have a remarkably similar recipe for dressing and it has chillies in it!
Carbs don't agree with me either, although that sadly doesn't mean I don't eat them when i'm too exhausted to do anything else. I function best on masses of veg and pulses.3 -
I meant those big flat green beans, not broad beans, not French ones .... oh! Runner beans!!!
Carbs do agree with me. They love me so much they stick to me and don't ever want to let me go. Leaving them behind is the easiest way for me to drop a stone in a month. So that is my plan. 1 stone loss by next weekend, and then as close to 1 more stone by my birthday in mid June.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Thanks for the recipe 😊 Definitely no chillies for me. Even raw garlic will be quite ‘hot’ for me! 😉
