I now have a very exotic canary coloured knee. A good 15cm long at least.   I should sell tickets to view it, it is most impressive. 

DH left early morning Friday, so the house is 75% cleaned, hoovered, scrubbed and shined.   All beds laundered and line dried too. The older 3 are doing their own laundry, because, well, they wore it, they can clean it. I have enough to  without that. 

Pizza dough set off for their supper.  

I have lost 0lb this week.  I have literally stuck to the plan. Religiously. 0 results. Very annoying, even after the measly 1lb loss last week, this is very disappointing.   It feels like I am playing 'chicken' with weight-loss.  Who blinks first... not me! So I am stuck at 12.6 and will obviously now drop because I am whining to you. 

The seeds from the  supermarket melon have sprouted! So I have potted them up into their little pots. Obviously I need 15 melon plants (uh huh!)  My tomato plants are flowering and have embryonic tomatoes. I have 5 strawberry plants in the drainpipe garden producing lush red fruit and throwing out new flowers, my climbing what-ever-it-is has started to flower! I thought it was dying, but it has lovely deep red flowers today - they were not there yesterday! I think DH got it for my birthday last year and it had literally grown 3 inches, but it has got with the plan this week, and has decided to live.  I still have 3 purple bean plants, the nasturtiums are triffiding, the carnations ( that aren't called carnations anymore) are opening, the fuchsia are dripping with buds.  

The potatoes that DH decided he was not growing this year decided to grow themselves anyway and are popping up all over the flower planters. Oh well!  I suppose he must have recycled his potato soil into those beds. Anyway, those are flowering too. The basil did nothing, the yellow beans did nothing, the green beans did nothing, one cucumber has died (the free one from the plant sale) but all in all I think I am winning more than I am losing.

The climbing whatever-it-is was busy doing roots last year, it was going down rather than up 😊

I missed whatever it was that you did to your knee? Sounds flipping sore! Well done on getting the lodgers to do their own washing … 😉

It sounds like everything is going really well in your little garden 😊👏

I came out of my classy b00bsquish portacabin, and immediately fell down the kerb  flat onto the carpark.   My palms are still grazed, but the brunt of my weight hit my knee.  Splat.

I may be wrong but I think @f0xh0les’ lodgers now pay something towards their keep. 😊

Sadly not. Neither of them have coughed up a penny piece for the last 12 months. 
I have a total twit Sat on the double yellow lines on the corner playing the most god-awful rave music on his car stereo at massive volume. Hopefully someone will throw a can of paint over him soon.

Oh heck … this sounds absolutely horrible 😢 Is there anyone they would be prepared to listen to, who could talk to them about their attitude and behaviour? 

I also wonder if you need to force the issue. Maybe find a shared house you could forcibly move them out to? 

I suppose it depends how bad you feel it’s getting. How long you can sustain this? 

Shame you can’t just enrol them in one of the Forces … 😉 (I am joking here!)
