Good Morning All
Hope we are all well (((hugs to those who need them)))
Got the thereapy family meeting today at 4pm. Then Ive got to fetch something of freecycle later. So dinner will be a make do again!
My TV is on the blink! Think its the tube. Trying to watch tv was funny, as the screen is like a mood changing light. One minute its green, then red, then blue! Cant afford a new one, so may end up having to get it repaired if I can.
Right best be off.
Have a great day

Good morning
Happy Birthday to purpleprincess! Hope you have a lovely day.
anniestar (((hugs))) for today.
donnygal hope the funeral goes well. Take the afternoon off but I want to hear progress on your cleaning!!! (There, I've nagged you, just as you asked.:D )
frogga nice to see you back again. :T
twink hope the bill for your car is less than mine!
Shez hope you get your car back soon. You feel lost without it, don't you?
JackieO it's amazing what a good night's sleep can do for the soul, isn't it?
I'm sure there's lots of others I should mention but my mind has gone blank. Sorry.
W**k at job no 2 today. I really dread Thursdays now. Oh well, I need the money so I will just have to grin and bear it.
Went to the supermarket yesterday to buy some cold meat for my sandwiches today. Bought some heavily reduced items that are now sitting in the freezer but what did I forget? Yep, the cold meat. So it's egg mayo sandwiches today with a fruit salad after.
Dinner will be chicken in some form but not sure what yet - probably a stir-fry as we haven't had one for a while.
DD's pumpkin plant is spreading everywhere! It's amazing to see all of this greenery sprouting from just one little-ish seed. We even have two pumpkins on it! :j
Have a thrilling Thursday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

You can ask about this on the techie board - Techie Stuff
But from the sound of it the problem is indeed the tube and it is unlikely to be an economical repair.
But ask them - you never know your luck

I do have a spare TV in the bedroom, so we may end up bringing that downstairs for a while, until something crops up!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Morning all,
Shuffs sorry to hear about your worries, hope all is OK , will be sending you possitive vibes down the airwaves xxxx
Thanks for all the welcomes, all jokes aside you are ALL VERY welcome to visit me here in Ipswich, there's LOADS of stuff to see here ~ erm, let me think of some, well , like PP said there's Sutton Hoo which is a big hole in the ground, and erm The Orwell Bridge which is ,high, and we've got a smashing train station so if you go there you could get on a train to somewhere else!:rotfl:
Oooo I've got some o/s stuff to say , honestly and it's not even a fib ~ now Mr Frog is driving an HGV for a bakery he is allowed free bread! He's not pinching it , all the drivers are allowed to take a couple of loaves at the end of the day before they get chucked. Good isn't it?
Have a good one all :T xxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Blairweech wrote: »Pen-Pen Do you have a recipe for that fruit loaf please? I love fruit loaf
Of course, though as you may have noticed by now, that apart from baking, I'm not really one for sticking to recipesSee what you can make of this:
450g strong white flour
1tsp easy blend yeast
1Tbsp demerara
1tsp salt
25g butter
approx 300ml orange juice
Mix together, knead 10mins, prove until doubled in size.
Add dried fruit - I used 2 handfulls raisins, 1 handful mixed peel, 1 handful glace cherries, 1Tbsp mixed spice, 2Tbsp demerara, grated zest of an orange. I've also used dried apricot, sultana, cinnamon, date, fresh apple. Knead again, shape and place n a greased baking heet. Allow to rise until double and cook at gas 7 for about 25mins.
For teatime, it's nice drizzled with water icing (icing sugar and a little water or orange juice) and decorated with cherries or apricots, chopped small.
Sat here eating a piece with butter and a cup of coffee
Annie - you lucky thing having pumpkins. I had loads last year (lasted well into the New Year) but the weather hasn't suited this year and I have 3 golf-balls going mouldy
Shuffs - hugs for you. Good to see you back :T
Crazychick - our local *TV repair service* no longer does TVs  Madness to chuck away such a lot of kit.

Shuffs....So sorry you've had a rough time.
Crazychik...good luck at the family meeting.
Happy Birthday Purple Princess. _party_
Congrats to your daughter PenPen.:j Do you need to buy a new suit to go with your new tie??
Annie.. Sorry to hear about phoebe.
JackieO...With or without a good night's sleep your posts always cheer me up.
Pink......."If you didn't laugh you'd cry" eh?? It was a rotten day for both of us but at least my shares in BT are gaining value again. You're a fab mum and your kids are testement to that.:kisses3: (Though I suppose that could be down to Mr Pink.)  :silenced:
Well. I only went and flippin did it!!! Every item of clothing in my house is washed and ironed. :T:cool:  :easter_ba
:smileyhea :snow_laug :santa2: _party_ (sorry but there aren't enough smilies to express my joy at seeing the bottom of that
basket.):o Now begins the task of putting it away.
Kitchen is cleaned and beds are made but need to do something about the girls' room. I have one twin who is like her father and has not inherited the tidy gene. She would rather shove dirty pants and apple cores down behind the nearest tv,blanket box, sofa, chair, handbag, cistern (delete as approriate) than put it in the bin's and laundry baskets which I have conveniently placed so she is never more than six inches away from one. Her twin however is as [strike]anal[/strike] tidy as me and throws an apoplectic fit if there is a stick of furniture out of place in her dolls house.ATM they are very unhappy bunk bed fellows and we have given in and decided to extend the house so we can hopefully create a sealed unit for dtwin1 to wreak her own chaos. Think I will need a decontamination room beside hers though to keep us all safe. Maybe when the foot and mouth epidemic is wiped out I could have some of their foot baths.
Tea tonight is stuffed pork fillet and left over veg and I need to pay the garden some attention. Still feeling rough but hey ho.
Sorry for the rambling post.
Take care all.
