  • 'Morning everyone,

Well Autumn is definately in the air this morning - wonder how long I'll manage to keep the heating off !

Thursday is housework night - I do the bedrooms, stairs and bathroom. Sitting room, kitchen and hall are left till Saturday morning. Sometimes I can't be bothered on Thursday and then it seems that I do housework all weekend. But not today, I WILL work tonight!

Breakfast: Juice, Museli, tea and toast.

Lunch: Sandwiches on HM cheese salad (cheese, carrots & lettuce in mayonnaise).

Dinner: HM smoked sausage pasta (HM spicy tomato sauce, smoked sausage & pasta topped with grated cheese).

    Hungry already !!!

    Have a good day.:j

backing-up my computer as I have just ordered vista to go on it...so need to back everything up for a clean install

CW - make it a dual boot at least, I am pdg with PC's and I like many hate Vista, its not a patch on XP. I have a new Laptop with it installed, tried for over a month, but it just frustrates me every time I want to do anything, so going to dual boot it. It's not what it does, but what it does not let you do. Drag and Drop seems to have been forgotten!

    Morning everyone

Happy Birthday purpleprincess and anyone else celebrating.

Glad to see you back Frogga, once I get my head in gear (after visitors next week) you'll have to PM me some info and sign me up! Odds where are you? I hope Ipswich suvived as our DS was there this weekend, at Sudbury this week for work.

Podiatory strapped up my foot to help support the muscle which is still not working right, got to keep it on for a week without getting it wet. Any (polite) suggestions for showering without getting foot wet!:rotfl: :rotfl: They are arranging an ultrasound scan and I have to go back in a fortnight. Chances of the scan before my next trip (in a fortnight!) are slim I would imagine, but I did try!

Called in Asda yesterday to pick up some fresh yeast for when my BM arrives (though since then reading the BM thread not sure it is best for a BM!) they had run out! only had half quantity delivered that day, story of my life! However, did get some thin v neck jumpers, bras, a skirt in the sale and a couple of part of Tickled Pink Pyjamas, plus some shorts/tops for youngest GN in the sale. Very dear no yeast:rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad to see you back on form Jackie0 I have a Mrs Bucket neighbour too, you have to tune out at times, but heart is in the right place, and will do anything for you, so you just smile sweetly when she goes off on one mentioning upmarket brands and shops. The Classic was one day when she was talking to my Mum who had come down to see me and she was going on about a grey Jaegar(sp) suit she had got in HofF sale. Oh yes my Mum said, I have just got a lovely grey suit, it was, but could have been from anywhere provided it fit and she thought it was worth its price, having no idea of any brand names:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Sometimes if you are doing a job, here DH will go in his garage and bring out all his electric tools/gadgets to do it, and bring them round in the wheelbarrow there are that many. Enjoy your reading, my problem is I can read books more than once, so never want to get rid :o HELP!

Thanks Amie, will possibly go and see a friend who lives near the crem after to try to add a nice bit to the day.

Other than that - will you lot please nag me, I have been very awful about getting down to the spring clean/tidy up for the visitors and we are away after today for the weekend, so I need to get a wiggle on

    Take care all
    DG

Anniestar - sorry hadn't forgotten you ((hugs)) for Phoebe - My Grandma was called that.

Pen-Pen - How are the chicks doing? Any chance of any poulet eggs yet??;) ;)

Pen-Pin - I am sure you clean up far more any than most of us, especially me:rotfl: - don't wear yourself and DH out with it, relax about tomorrow, from what's been said you will be away with the fairies.

Pen-Pen Do you have a recipe for that fruit loaf please? I love fruit loaf :)
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment
  • Morning Ladies, just a very quick visit. As we speak I ahve Hob Nobs in the oven. The smell is fantastic. After yesterday I just had to make some more. Mrs Cat will be very pleased when she gets back(odd woman has gone for a swim!!) Have a happy and productive day ladies. Will think of you all when we are eating the spoils!!!
  • Morning :hello:

    Happy birthday **purpleprincess** :bdaycake:
JackieO, sounds like your DD takes after her mum  :D :rotfl:

Am stuck at home for the next couple of hours waiting for the plumber to come and fix my loo. Flushing it with a bucket of water is getting a little tiring  I don't think I told you that I managed to rig up the ballc0ck so it thinks the cistern is full, so at least it's not permanently trying and failing to fill up (causing quite severe water wastage, not to mention the noise in the pipes!) Anyway, I am going to take the opportunity to get a bit of long-overdue housework done. I'm NOT going to sit on MSE all morning and I'm NOT going to watch Jeremy Kyle. Well, I might watch Jeremy Kyle WHILE doing other things

Have put off shopping and cooking until the weekend :o as I am quite busy. I have at least loaded up the trolley with recyclables (hadn't been to the bins for THREE weeks, and my kitchen was a proper "plastic bottles graveyard" (I drink a lot of cheap fizzy water and lime cordial!) Tonight I am going to the theatre to see the play that one of my friends should have been in if he hadn't injured himself :(

Must be off, get dressed and get things done.

    Love Rzl xx

    Morning all

Have been in the office since 7 this morning as I had lots of bits to do before a mammouth 2 days of phone coaching. Having said that first call was due in at 8 and its now 8.11 so maybe need to discuss time management with them (or setting good alarm clocks!!)

Hoping to get some time today imbetween work to put my room back together after decorating - I want to sort all cupboards out first though which will take some time but should be worth it - I love a big declutter its very satisfying and good news for all the local charity shops:D

Today I will be eating lots of fruit thanks to a sales call I did yesterday with a company who makes the prepacked fruit bowls for the supermarkets. I always thought they were ridiculously expensive so dont buy them myself but my customer gave me a very large box of them to sample so its fruit for a few days now for me and my neighbours:rotfl:

Jackie O I had to buy a new bookcase at the weekend to cater for my impulse buys:o I need to realise at some point that Judy and Richards book club reviews books to allow you to choose your favourite - you do not need to go and buy all eight just cos they are massively reduced in Tesco:rolleyes: and then pick up a few others as well cos I like the covers:o anyway enjoy your read and hope you get your conservatory sorted out to your liking - its my favourite room in my house for a good read:D oh and btw the fried egg and wine from yesterdays thread was a Haribo fried egg not a real one:rotfl:
    Purple Princess Happy Birthday:j
Frogga - Good to see you back
anniestar and donny gal - hugs
granny boon and Haribo- my new pm pals :D

right well no sign of my first call so may go make a coffee and wait for the next
    Hugs
    Nels xx
