Morning all
Tried to post for the last couple of days but it keeps eating my posts and logging me out - charming!!
Haribo- I loved your discription of your twins - made me giggle.
Hugs to all those in need today and happy birthday to Purpleprincess where ever you are.
Been in agony for the past 4 days with sciatica - normally only get troubled now and then for a day so this attack has knocked me sideways. The good thing is though that as it hurts to sit down, I've been really productive. Yesterday I made
13 individual chicken and veg pies
1 large chicken and veg pie
2 large bacon and tomato quiches
12 decorated to within an inch of their lives - chocolate sponge cakes
12 blueberry muffins
1 large tin of rice crispie marshmellow squares.
I even got all the ironing done on Tuesday - I think I need a halo!
DH has been summonsed to an all day meeting with his boss today - it won't be pleasant as DH has had enough of being walked over - told him I will fully support whatever decission he makes. Lets hope it isn't the one to walk away.
I've just discovered facebook - it eats time but it's great to catch up with some of the people I've not spoken to for years.

Morning All
Things are not going to well here this morning.
First DD was up a couple of times in the night. Then the gasman came to service the boiler and I didnt know anything about it (going to kill dh). Then the gasman slapped a warning notice on it as apparently the flue is unstable and has to have somesort of plate on it. After he left DD threw a cup of milkshake over me in temper, she is seriously in the bad books and had to sit on the naughty step. Just when I thought everything was calming down I managed to drop a tray of Hob-nobs out of the oven all over the floor. Argh.
I off now to try and sort out the playroom and work out what we are going to have for tea
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Good morning
Spoke to mum this morning, and it seems that she has torn her calf muscle, and has had internal bleeding and cysts have formed around it _pale_ -which is where they think the DVT has come from.. she was allowed home as they were short of beds...and of course mum was declaring "i will be fine:rolleyes: "... but to get out, she had to have a cepterin(sp?) injection in her stomach....
And she has to go back at 2pm today, for a scan and they have to put a probe in through her groin to find the problem. ..... bless her she said she has never been so scared as when they mentioned DVT.... and thats saying a lot, after all the health problems she has had....
Anyway.....thankyou for all your concern and lovely thoughts...will let you know how things go...
Ok ...let normal service resume
I have managed to vaccume through, clean the bathroom, tidy our bedroom and fold the laundry....
Will get the floors mopped and the windows cleaned in a while....
Decided for dinner tonight, to take the pie out of the freezer that i made earlier in the week (it was yummy)... pork, vegetable and barley, lentils etc...mmmm
Have trawled through all my goodfood, olive, fresh and delicious mags and got all the sep/oct/nov/dec issues out, so i have started to look through ready to make some new meal plans up for the cold months that i think have allready arrived:D
Red ruby - you just leave the vodka until it has dissolved the marsbar/s....
pooky :A - there you go...your halo
tooties think you deserve a :A too!!
jellycat - hope things start improving for you soon
Morning frogga
Sorry to anyone i missed, hugs to all in need....

Ok I hope this works. DH took a couple of pictures this arv. DGS arrived. He was so happy to see us. He's much better now. Still on his course of antiobiotics though. Sound asleep in his bed , but for how long  is anyone's guess. I've put a doona out if DH needs to go on the couch.
Great to see you again jellycat.
