Neither mate - Leeds (well i've got a place just outside Leeds)....

But technically I do not class London as being a city, after all it actually consists of various boroughs therefore Birmingham is No1 and Leeds No2 in my opinion.

Never-in-doubt, I seriously doubt those figures you posted. How can a list of the top 8 cities not have Manchester in it? I would say that they would be fighting it out with Glasgow to see who was the 3rd biggest city in the UK (after London and Birmingham)

Totally off topic but London is a city, though not a borough.. - though its not the one that most think about when they say 'London'
