In this situation them disputing it seems unlikely, but the bank of course has to protect themselves from even unlikely events.
In my opinion, you have nothing to worry about.0 -

Did they give a reason why they are taking the money back?
No reason, but understandably livid as she found out when she went to rebook the accommodation and the card was declined. Couldn't talk to anyone as the dispute line only open 9 to 5. No update has appeared since, not good. I thought they had to give notice if they were reclaiming the money back from you?0 -
Thank you, my friends keep pestering me too. I've basically told them to wait.0

I have sent everything they asked for, and we did book a package holiday - any ideas???
Dear Sir or Madam,
We have received your documentation regarding a claim for the insolvency of Lowcostholiday Spain S.L.
Unfortunately, we can not register your claim because it does not fullfill the necessary conditions.
We would therefore like to remind you that we need:
- The ORIGINAL application form send by post, filled in Spanish or Catalan and SIGNED
- ALL the invoices for the total amount of your claim
If the documents you presented do not fullfill these criteria, we must ask you to send them again.
Please be aware that only claims for travel PACKAGES will be accepted. Clients who booked flights OR hotel only are therefore NOT entitled to claim refund.

Has anyone who paid with Nationwide visa debit heard anything?
They are complete shambles. I submitted a claim a month ago got an acknowledgement email and that was it.
I called up complaints and messaged them on facebook and was told claims will take up to 120 days to process.0 -
I ring them (Nationwide) and message them through online banking and Facebook. Total waste of time. All I get in apologies and false promises. Already logged a complaint but that did no good at all. Just got more apologies and false promises0

Have you emailed them back to ask which of the elements is wrong with your application? Write it in English first and then run it through Google translate and pop that on the bottom if you don't have access to a Spanish speaker, but keep the sentences very simple if you do that.
I take it you are claiming for the whole amount of the holiday? The fact some have valid and paid for flights might be confusing the issue, or they may have misunderstood and decided that a claim for just the hotel is not a package booking. If you sent everything as requested that doesn't make any sense.
It seems hard enough to deal with people about this when you talk the same language, I do hope you get your money back.0 -

I paid with Nationwide debit card and have received a refund for the hotel & transfer part direct into my account for £343 (flight element of my booking is safe)
I used the chargeback template letter.
I did also receive a letter from them to say they are investigating and it can take up to 120 days, and there is still a chance that Nationwide can take the refund back from my account.(they will give 10 days notice if this is going to happen)
Fingers crossed I get to keep my £343.Competition Wins:

Hi people,
Have just checked the bank for a totally unrelated matter and found that I have been refunded £1,293.23 into my Santander current account. Still waiting for a further £354.10 to be refunded as Santander (for reasons unknown) put my four transactions onto two disputes.
Good luck to each and everyone of you who are still fighting to get back what is rightful theirs.0
