The voucher is worthless as you cant guarantee they wont try the same dirty trick again.

Haveagoade - Lidl also have some nice (cheap) wine - their red Catalunya at £2.29 a bott is very gluggable and they often have other special offers which are very good.

We are lucky to have enough time in our lives to visit Lidl, Aldi, Sainsburys and Tesco most weeks and almost never buy anything full price !!

I too, got a phone call today... but was expecting it.

But as I had only ordered 6 bottles of the cheap red and 6 of some (not too shabby) Australian White they will still send me the 6 bottles of white and I still get the £10 discount

So six 750ml bottles of Hardys Voyage White (Colombard Verdelho Chenin)

Was £26.73, Reduced to £17.04 plus £5 delivery = £22.04 - £10 = £12.02 or £2 per bottle!

I have 6 french red and 6 french white due tonight ,bet they will arrive!:rolleyes:

They DO have stock control ,why else did it go in and out of stock several times a day since the first post?

I hadn't tried the wine club before but after this I won't be tempted back!

If it helps anyone at least to vent some spleen, I would suggest emailing this guy;

At half a million a year I am sure he would be interested in receiving emails from unhappy TESCO customers who feel they have been scammed by his phoney e-marketing deals.

There is a wall around these people but it may be easiest to get him at;

"ermmmmm...no idea,enlighten me"

"really-sorry-but-your-wine-is-out-of-stock-so-we-will-have-to-cancel-your-order-
thank-you-very-much-goodbye"

I've got an order due to arrive Saturday - is the whole warehouse empty - never to have this Vino again - empty? Or do you think this will be back by then?

Tesco couldn't give a monkeys bottom about us......from top to bottom , they just don't care and time will prove me right.
