**UPDATE** It would appear that Tesco have no stock of this wine, even though their web site claims they have. I've just been informed that my order for tomorrow has been cancelled (it would appear that I am by no means in the minority here). Many apologies if this thread has caused anybody any inconvenience, but I obviously genuinely thought it was a genuine offer when I posted it.

Our second favourite was the bargain of the evening. Simply Garnacha NV is only £2.99 from Tesco. However, like many good, cheap wines, you need to drink it pretty quickly. The smell at the beginning of the evening was really quite pleasant. It was our first wine and we used it as a benchmark because we liked it so much. Suddenly, after half an hour, the smell disappeared. Not such a problem, since the taste was perfectly good – not too sweet and not too dry. Share the bottle with five friends and it’ll still smell great as you drain your glasses.

5 - Simply Garnacha-Spain - £3.09 Tesco

This is very much an everyday wine, which would also be ideal for parties as it is incredibly easy to enjoy. Being made from the Grenache grape (Garnacha in Spanish) I found it approachable with plenty of ripe/soft fruit flavours with a hint of spice. Fine when lightly chilled for barbecues or with anything else you fancy. With its easygoing charm it can be drunk by itself if you want.
Drinking now and recommend that this be drunk up within 6 months of purchase. Rating:

The same codes can be used for any 12 bottles of wine so for a few pounds more you can get some decent buys.

You can actually get some cheap party stuff for far less than £1 a bottle, but it's up to you whether you drink it or clean the drains with it!!!
