As you can see this is a clear instruction for me to PREPARE for delivery.
If as it transpires they knew they had no stock of the product, then they have been negligent and have incurred unnecessary expense inconvenience on my part by issuing this email and instructing me to make preparations.0 -

Thought I would give the Red a try, and the Hardy's white is not a bad drop. 12 bottles for £20 is not bad!
Thanks to the OP!
ordered the granacha plonk last night but received a phone call from a bored scottish lady today telling me that the wine was very popular and now sold out! Basically, hard lines squire we've given it to someone else. have emailed them back expressing unhappiness at this lack of customer concern. Have they realised that there is a loophole and they are blocking it?
Anyone else been given the bums rush in this way?Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

Not spamming or anything but if any TESCO sneaks do actually read these posts - not one member of my circle of family or friends will buy another thing online from TESCO if this is how they treat customers willing to take it on trust that what they say online is reliable.
Back to Sainsburys for me.Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

Its not going to stop me buying from tesco but I won't order wine again as its basically luck if they fulfil your order as they have no control over stock0

Same here. Would suggest that EVERYONE who has tried this will be in the same boat.
Everyone please send them an email to complain that this is poor customer service (they even cancelled the points, Sainsburys always gives free points if you complain about their product) and that you will not be using this service again.
Its only by complaining to these people that they realise their business may be affected by frivolous offers such as this granache plonk.
P.S. does anyone want to try ordering at the full price to see what happens?Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

I stuck 2 fingers up to Tesco today and shopped at Lidl
WOW!....70% off fruit and veg! at Lidl....Tesco done me a favour by telling me they don't give a @#$% about my custom!
Tesco are getting above the law and any reasonable complaints made against them.
Every little ......SUCKS!0 -
