Hang on, did you read the past few posts? To contribute towards repayment of debt rather than give him money I would tell him to reduce or stop the child support to the same amount, why is that wrong?

Does it matter if that money comes from him or my wages which will then go to him? Or should I not repay it at sll

But the money he would provide would be to support your (joint your) children, not pay the debt. Or are you suggesting that every penny he would pay would be towards your (singular your) debt, and the children don't see a penny of it??

I would suggest you speak to step change once you know what child support and benefits you will receive then make arrangement based on your income. Whose name is the debt in?

You really don't get it. Money paid by your husband is for maintenance for your children, not to pay off your debts. You have to pay off your own debts but not expect your children to fund whatever you spent all this money on. Your husband is not responsible for this money, only you, and your children certainly aren't.

Incidentally - if the house is owned rather than rented I don't think you'll be able to get a DRO - someone with more knowledge of this will correct me I'm sure, but if the house is a marital asset then it will have to be sold anyway.
