Yes they do send email……but digging yesterday found on my account online after looking at side heading My Messages they show a 2 page letter date ealier this month stating contract date ending mid october and as I read it my SKY HD + was rising to whopping £116 next month.
Have had no letter from them or email. I really have the contract date very much imbedding in my mind as I have no intention of them rising prices by £19 per month.
They are loosing customers hand over fist and yep over 20 years with them I feel I am lazy not to have moved (due to Mrs loving the present platform)

Nothing in my account will keep eyes peeled ,my November bill jumps £22 a month, then £32 in December , too much for me , need to convince the wife as she likes they SkyQ too much

Are you paying £97 pm for sky hd+ then if the new cost is going to be £116 ?
Maybe they want hd+ subscribers to migrate to stream or glass so charge OTT prices.

Sky sats are meant to be switched off end of 2029 I believe so maybe a year left for current Q subscribers to haggle a new price on a 2 year min term contract as don't see sky giving out new contracts after December 2027.
I have Q and tried stream at a mates house for a week when we were staying there and I couldn't get on with it but I suppose we will have no choice in 2 or so years time.

Hi BooHoo
At the moment it is £87 (sorry its £30 ) have stayed at places with Sky Q and ok but like the old HD+ but SkyQ at decent price is better than streaming. Plus streaming does not have the record eliment ( the main thing!!)
Have heard of turn off etc but they are suggesting 2 year contract from Oct 26 for HD+. Interstingly the Sky interactive service on Sky is unavailable now. So have to go online to check bills etc. Yes I think they want to ditch HD+ plus customers - last time renewed and got a better deal(not much good) was told that HD+ limited what they could offer in better pricing.

@Vegastare what I was trying to get across is Sky won't be doing 2 year contract at the end 2027 if the switch off is 4th quarter of 2029 but if there is an extension who knows.
The date may be pushed back.
Mine runs out April 2028 so Sky won't do another 24 m deal as the satellite may not be operating for the full 24 month.
I think you can get sky q but not sure how you get it as you have to call them up.

Once again thanks - the renewal gives option of sky q but no price……will look into this but no way am I paying £116 with old equipment. If they don't want to keep me as customer after 20 years then its goodbye.
Thanks again

In my biannual cancellation period... essentially we have everything and its been around £80 for the last couple of years.
Cost of TV only....£106.49....firm no.
✅ Sky Signature
✅ Multiscreen
✅ Sky HD
✅ Sky Cinema
✅ Sky Sports Complete
✅ Sky Kids
✅ Sky UHD
✅ Netflix Standard
✅ 24-month contractHowever when considering switching to broadband with them...the above with
- 900mbps = £102.99
- 2.5gbps = £109.99
When getting a breakdown of numbers TV came in at 77.99 for both broadband offers.
Anyone have any thoughts on any of the offers?

I've been offered this by Sky Priority Customers
**Broadband Options:**
- **Full Fibre Gigafast Broadband:** £25.00 per month, with download speeds of 780–930 Mb/s. This is actually cheaper than the current new customer offer on our website.
- **Full Fibre 1.6 Broadband:** £35.00 per month, with download speeds of 1627–1712 Mb/s. This package isn’t available online yet, so you’re getting exclusive access. How do these prices look ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -
How to proceed ….contract is set to increase by £30 next month Have SKY HD+ and second old sky hd box in bedroom. Present £88+ to £119 have all except netflix and childrens tv
Old equipment and had to pay for dish to be realigned this year too.
Have two options in mind get price for SKYQ or leave.
So is it best to phone or online chat. Should I go down wanting to cancel route., then try negotiate.
