Whats the best number to call on or can i do this on chat? or are you less likely to get a good deal on chat?

For context, i used to actually quite enjoy the negotiations, but i've been having mental health issues more recently and it fills me with dread.

150 if you've got a landline plugged in or have Sky mobile, otherwise you'll need to go through the contact us section on the website. Don't get frustrated by the bot, just keep saying cancel tv, that'll get their attention. I've had decent chats online as well as by phone.

So i can now see a renewal offer in my account, currently paying £40 , new 24m contract £47 , just been on live chat and they have offered same plus Cinema for £55, said i wasn't happy, they put me through to retentions apparently and there offer was £58 for the same package I'm already on, crazy !

It's at least 31 days, not 31 days exactly. You can ask them to cancel at the end of minimum term, in fact you can do that when you initially sign up. You will get the occasional agent claiming otherwise but that's in the hope that you call back and you affect someone elses retention stats.

Thanks, I tried again and they offered £45 , I did have a double discount on my current contract which I knew I shouldn't of had so technically it's what I should be paying anyway , not sure they will go cheaper.

Yes I have 2 in contract £5 discounts , should only have one, I have been paying £5 less per month than what I was quoted 2years ago when I renewed
